It was a windy Valentine's Day - didn't get much sleep with the wind blustering around the house, but it was worse on the coast:
Valentine's Day diners rescued from water-surge cafeThe army and emergency services have rescued 32 people trapped by surging floodwaters in a beachfront restaurant in Hampshire.
Windows at the Marine Restaurant were also smashed by shingle picked up by fierce winds in the town of Milford on Sea on Friday night.
A coastguard spokesman described conditions as "extremely dangerous".
Some rescue vehicles were hit by debris but there were no serious injuries among the Valentine's Day diners.
The coastguard spokesman added: "The restaurant customers and staff moved upstairs while waiting to be rescued. They were evacuated in an Army vehicle."
The rescued were then taken from the restaurant on Hurst Road to Lymington recreation centre.
The restaurant's owner said the ground floor was now completely under water and reinforced glass windows had been smashed by rocks, stones and bricks whipped up by strong winds.
