The Rolling Stones have today announced that they will play a huge one-off show at Rome’s Circus Maximus on Sunday 22 June as part of their 14 ON FIRE tour.

The Rolling Stones will be playing more major shows in Europe in May, June and July, and these will be announced over the next week.

Mick Jagger commented: "I can't wait for the tour to hit Europe. It's a great time of the year to be playing and the tour is a good mix of festivals, stadiums and arenas. See you there!"

Keith Richards added: “Let’s keep this show on the road …the band are in top form so I’m really looking forward to getting back to Europe.”

The Rolling Stones - 14 ON FIRE tour sees Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood back out on the road again after a mammoth run of concerts in the UK and US last year, bringing their iconic music and groundbreaking stage shows to audiences around the globe. The Stones launched the 14 ON FIRE tour with their first ever gig in the Middle East in February, and are currently making their way through Asia, Australia and New Zealand, before returning to play Europe for the first time in seven years. The Stones are also confirmed to headline the Pinkpop Festival in Holland and TW Classic Festival in Belgium.

The band will treat their generations of fans to a set packed full of classic Stones hits such as ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Jumping Jack Flash’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll’, plus a couple of unexpected gems.

Tried getting tickets for both and failed.


Got through to the next page at PinkPop but 'safari cannot find the server try again' so I missed out there too.


I hate not getting Stones tickets. @#$%& hell.

I think you're right. Just have to make a decision whether to book travel and hotel before I have tickets.... I'm sure I'll work something out. I'm going to have a nice cup of tea and de-stress now.

werchter sold out, and then 20 mins later tickets are being offered at viagogo (both GC and GA) at double price...

scalpers are very much part of the business, more then ever.

I heard on the Dutch Rolling Stones Forum site that you still can buy tickets on the ticketmaster.be site for Werchter, but ONE ticket eacht time. Worth a try?!
