Assuming that the Stones tour the USA in 2014, on which month or months do you think they will perform in Columbus, Ohio. Does anyone keep track of their usual schedules to perform in Ohio.

The Nationwide Arena in Columbus has excellent acoustics.

Yes, they're an English R'n 'R band. But, at the same time, they're a strongest, global phenomenon.

They're Britain's finest export !! winking smiley

Yeah maybe, but 007's version of Jumpin' Jack flash positively sucks as compared to the Glimmers' take winking smiley

Why did the only anounce one single date so far? Is it a test run to check demand?

Partly yes, but I think it might have something to do with the money the city of Adelaide gave to bring them to their town. Maybe they wanted to be known as the only city in Australia hosting a show until the rest gets announced.

You could try this one for instance. Here the 2014 page via Google Translator.

I think that you can't buy Tickets officially as long as the Tour dates are not announced/confirmed officially. Buying Tickets from doubtful sources is a risk.

I just read the news update on their website. This is pasted from their official news about Adelaide selling out.

"More Rolling Stones concerts in Australia, and one in New Zealand, will be announced by Frontier Touring and AEG Live in the next few weeks."

there's nothing so far to suggest they'll tour the US in 2014, let alone play any specific city there.

There'll be tours in Asia, Australasia and almost certainly Europe and South America.

For a band who only play 2-3 shows a week when they ARE on tour, that doesnt exactly leave much room for a trek across the US.

Wouldnt place much emphasis on acoustics. The prime motive is financial.

Got it, Gazza...South America's not that far from DC, is it? I mean it's still part of America, right?

..and I'm only a few hours from the Ocean, then it's just a bit further to Europe, I think...grinning smiley

I feel a little slighted since they were suppose to take a couple months off and then continue touring Europe after Hyde Park. Now we have to wait for them to play the rest of the world minus America first? On the flipside maybe they'll be warmed up and willing to take risks with the setlist. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I can't agree with that. The more they get used to the shows the less excited they get about changing set lists. They do also scale down the number of songs they play. I am just wondering where that part of the Tour starts and where it ends.

They Never Ever tAKE RISKS WITH THE SETLIST. a shame really, and boring. But,,,,,,,, they are one of the greatest bands ever, still.

Wonder where tour will end USA in fall?

They will. NYC is their "home"!

Bollocks, they're first and foremostly an English rock n' roll band ......... always have been n' always will be !

Home is where the heart is,and although I'm in Cyprus now..............thinking of old London Town ...........same as Mick,Keef,Ronnie ,Charlie and Mick T do as well.
London and the U.K. is like playing a football game home or away.
Home is always gonna be a good winner for The Stones.
Away, you gotta hope for a good result, which is always a win for The Stones . winking smiley
