In your opinion, in what type of venues ? Small to mid-sized arenas, or gargantuan stadiums ?

It's not really that strange. They played London and one Festival that had sold out half a year before they had even been announced.
Take Wales, Scotland and Ireland (and forget England for now). That's three countries that have not been included on this tour yet. I'm not saying it's true, only outlining what I was told on Saturday. This board has been over these things a hundred times now though, so all we can do is wait and see!
A Welsh gig wouldn't go amiss I can tell you. Never mind Cardiff, I hope the Stones come to Swansea.

It's a rumour and it has been published for about 1/2 months ago, including the exact date of the concert, which is supposed to be at Maracana Stadium on March 5 2015. Although, on times like these, regarding Stones concerts, every journalist wants to be the first to give the news, and we all know this is a rumour, though. It seems credible to me the Stones will maybe play in South America next year, but until it's officially confirmed by the band, we only can read these kind of "news" as a rumour.

Well it seems like we may all get what we want if what I heard on the weekend is true. Someone I spoke to (not a fan!) on Saturday at Circus Maximus (I went to see the stage being set up on this day) said that a South America/North America (places they never played in 2012/13) is on the cards for the beginning of next year. He also said they will finish off this 14 on fire tour in Europe next summer with the UK and Ireland having it's own individual summer dates to finish it all off!

I am hoping when I saw the Stones at Barclay's in December 2012 that it was not the last time. Maybe we see some MSG shows down the line. Any thoughts, and I apologize if this was mentioned in a previous thread.

Thanks for the info, little while away, but patience is a virtue.
Also the made up shows in October and November may have messed around with the scheduling as well.
