I asked them about Stones banner removed from their site yesterday evening. They told me "it's reliable" but "It's not official yet"...

"Why ?!...Is it possible a venue change for some problem ?".

Finally I think we could bet... If there will be a concert in Italy, It will be in Rome - Circo Massimo. No Milan (unfortunately)

i think just one date in Italy.
Rockol.it said that sources very closer to the Stones confirmed the show at the Circo Massimo in Rome with a great opening act.

That's why I think they will do the O2 arenas in Berlin and Hamburg if they come to Germany. Both of them are under AEG's thumb.

So no Munich maybe?

BV puts "decoys" in the tour list to know which journalists use IORR as source, and dont have independent knowledge. The Milano concert info, I think anyway, is one of them. Another could be the claim that Rolling Stones play Roskilde Festival on the 02.July. They will more likely play on the 05 or 06. July. BV yesterday wrote a "cryptic" message about this. So no there will not be 2 Italian concerts, at least not if you ask me.

This site gets thousands of hits per day from thousands of members, most of whom see it as a reliable source of information. Why on earth would the site owner destroy his own credibility by deliberately posting information to mislead those people just for the sake of inconveniencing a few journalists? You're elevating these people to a level of importance that they don't have.

Apart from the two shows confirmed to date, everything else is merely speculative as plans change over a period of weeks and months before contracts get signed. Some are more credible than others but all listed as 'rumoured' because there has been a source or a media story somewhere that listed the show in question as a possibility. If he's not confirming a show its because a) its not definite or b) it is definite and he's been asked not to ahead of an official announcement. He's not going to be posting deliberately wrong information.

Live Nation international after O2 arena in 2012 decided to close his collaboration. Probably they think "too little profit vs high financial risk"

Because they lost to Branson and Dainty? Is the word in the industry that they lost money as well as AEG on the US tour? Admittedly it's hard to see them making a lot of money with the guarantee the Stones get...

Regarding reselling tickets. Sorry if this is a stupid question (I've never bought tickets for a concert abroad before) but are people allowed to resell tickets for Pinkpop and/or TW Classic? I assume it's not like Glastonbury because you don't need to register a photo ID for your ticket.

I'm asking because I'm trying to decide whether to try for a ticket tomorrow (probably just for TW Classic). I've got an ongoing medical problem. It isn't any serious and should be sorted by June but it would be helpful to know if I'd be able to sell on my ticket (legally) if I couldn't go. I'd only want to sell at face value (or as close as I could get).

Hopefully this won't be an issue for me - but it would help to know before I commit to getting a ticket (if I can get one before it sells out!).

Yes, reselling is legal. In some countries it is however illegal to resell at higher cost than face value. Whether Pinkpop / Werchter name your tickets I dont know, but I doubt it. Maybe other IORR readers have info on this. Seatwave charge a "10% success fee, excluding VAT will be deducted after your tickets sell.".

I would never sell above face value for anything - I'd only want to try and get back what I paid. But as I said, I would hate to have to sell - and am desperately hoping my medical issue is fully resolved by June!

Hurrah! Vienna's back - taken the list altogether, that means, the Stones basically do a Stadium & festival tour, and only very few arena shows.

I see 13 dates rumoured for the month of June!! Some place will have to go! It can be done, but since the Bridges to Babylon Tour that the Stones don´t make more then 14 gigs in a same month, and that only happen twice in Oct 97 and July 98, sixteen years ago...

They will do 2 shows in May, 12 in June and 1 in July. Which means one must go, assuming they do 15 in total. It was said that Germany would get 4 but with Vienna in and Dublin and Tel Aviv and Lisbon there must be a looser here unfortunately. Rome and Madrid are solid I think. I think they still have 5 balls in the air but only 4 will come down, that is the gap I have now.
