Seeing the European new stadium show plans I am curious about the stadium stage. Will it be completely new or Hyde Park-style or the shit Abu-Dhabi stage? What do you think?

I'm with you, Miikka. Sadly, I fear 2007 was the last time - in Finland. And even that show was because of Keith's accident. Remember that Finland was not part of the original 2006 Europe plan...

What about June 9th or June 10th?

It would be between Pinkpop and Milano. 3 shows within the span of one week. The most they can handle, right?

Does anybody know how long they play on festivals like Pinkpop and TW Classics? As long as regular shows or less?

The current setlist is "festival ready" ;-)

Pinkpop will be a regular show, its on the contract . so, maybe 2 hours or a little less. Guess the same is for Werchter. Jan smeets has said so on a Dutch TV program, de wereld draait door.

Usually the headliners of festivals do a full set, as it was their own concert.

But last year Mr Rob Hallett limited the Stones to 2 hrs in Hyde Park

Will they finally play Hot Rocks 2 entirely at one concert? They were close to it couple of times already. In Macau only SFM was missing.

Should be reliable now - Stones in Roskilde. Price, somwhere around 2,7 mio. Euro.

Dont have to use their own stage. (low logistic costs)

A proper UK stadium gig would be great.Glastonbury ,you have to get tickets months before any lineup is announced and I dread to think of the cost of the O2.
I did go to Hyde Park and we were at the front but my son got sunstroke so we had to move away so a UK stadium normal gig would be great.

Sorry but the Stones played 5 gigs in England in the last one and a half year and zero gig in East Central Europe in the last 7 years! So now we have to come first!

They are an English band and home is where the heart is.
I've always thought The Stones really love playing the U.K. and also Ireland,and I still think on the Europe leg there will be a U.K. gig or two.
Dublin will probably have one,and when they played 2 nights at The Point in Dublin September 2003 , and I was there for both shows, that was high up in my Rolling Stones highlights. ><

3 conserts in O2 Arena / 3 conserts in Royal Albert Hall and then goodbuy - looks quite probable.

Yeah but they are a "British Invasion" era band, so... the invade other countries

Of course Europe needs gigs but They are Britsh so why not one or two more on the UK?
