The Rolling Stones have today announced that they will headline the Pinkpop Festival in Holland on Saturday 7 June and the TW Classic Festival in Belgium on Saturday 28 June as part of their 14 ON FIRE tour.

Mick Jagger commented: “I love festivals in the summertime and can’t wait for the tour to get to Europe.”

Keith Richards added: “Let’s keep this show on the road …the band are in top form so I’m really looking forward to getting back to Europe.”

The Rolling Stones – 14 ON FIRE tour sees Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood back out on the road again after a mammoth run of concerts in the UK and US last year, bringing their iconic music and groundbreaking stage shows to audiences around the globe. The Stones launched the 14 ON FIRE tour with their first ever gig in the Middle East in February, and are currently making their way through Asia, Australia and New Zealand, before returning to play Europe for the first time in seven years.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday 15th March at 10am local (CET/ GMT+1).

The band will treat their generations of fans to a set packed full of classic Stones hits such as ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Jumping Jack Flash’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll’, plus a couple of unexpected gems.

The Rolling Stones will be playing more major shows in Europe in May and June, and these will be announced over the next two weeks.

With official confirmation of Pinkpop and TW Classics, both next June, I see 12 confirmed of rumoured shows that month, which probably are two much.
Regarding May and June 2013 in the States and UK, and present 14 on fire tour (14 shows in 44 days) I'm considering that a maximum of 10 concerts per month are available for the band, so I'm afraid that at least two or three rumoured shows will desappear in June. Lets pray they be moved to May or July.

Sorry, I was to quick. I saw the AMEX-logo as official partner. I allways ordered with VISA on ticketmaster, and that wasn't a problem. I just did try to get tickets for another event, and it is still possible by paying with VISA....

Well at least we won't be tempted to blow €500 on tickets like we did for the O2 and like they did in the US last year...no promoter was willing to take the chance apparently.

Exactly, it's what I wrote a few days ago: little by little, the rumored shows in arenas disappear...

All these (rumoured) festival dates, might give them an excuse to shorten their set even more.
