Which might be slightly more correct but what works....and Colonel is penning from NZ. Different terminologies there. Used to write racing magazine articles for that country. Fascinating to read their authors.

1965 first gigs in Australia, also in Denmark and Sweden, were VERY helpful in building a strong fan base.

USA: weren't all those records that Mick had under his arm at the Dartford rail station imports of USA performers? Nearly all their initial influences were USA performers (Chuck Berry, Chess bluesmen, etc.). Without those influences, Jagger and Richards form an electric skiffle group instead.

According to Keith (as he wrote in Life) Anita talked to him in the backseat of the Bentley among orange trees. He writes it happened between Barcelona and Valencia...so it likely was in Castellón.....which features a huge area of orange tree fields. And that was a turning point for the band. It ultimately meant the end of the relationship between she and Brian. Keith writes he felt very relieved after this event.
I do not remember the things Anita did in that car according to the book. Maybe she talked about Kant or Plato, but it seemed to be deeply convincing.
