She and partner Graham Whitney already have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Ava Melody.

Melody, it was her second name. Hopefully we can get that song on the setlist.

" Keith is not here. He had tu rush back to some family affairs "

07 FEBRUARY 2014

Rolling Stones star Keith Richards has become a grandfather once again.

The guitarist, aged 70, welcomed a new addition to his family when daughter Angela Richards gave birth to Otto Reed.

She and partner Graham Whitney already have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Ava Melody.

Rock wild man Keith, who now has five grandchildren, said: "I couldn't be happier for them."

Congratulations !!

Why Otto Reed, why not Jimmy Reed?
Keith, you must have been drunk while explaining blues to your daughter - maybe it is a mixtures of music and history: Otto von Bismarck and Jimmy Reed became Otto Reed.....
thumbs upthumbs upsmileys with beer Congratulations Keith and Family and The Stones for having MICK TAYLOR as "a replacement". Could be there will be some new ideas during this rehearsal today.

Well Silver Train is a good start.

But I'm hoping for:

Doncha Bother Me
Stupid Girl
Out of Time
Heart of Stone
Moonlight Mile
Casino Boogie
Dance Little Sister
Melody
Lies
Slave

They must have read my list last night! One down nine to go. cool smiley

So no Dance Little Sister at all? Now I'm Back To Zero, back to nothing.

According to the post above yours, you can cross out Moonlight Mile. smiling smiley

They did a great version of CYHMK complete with Mick's harmonica solo and MT's licks... At the very end of it everyone clapped spontaneously!

Moonlight Mile and Shine A Ligt? I´m really looking forward to see them on tour! Hope they will practice Ventilator Blues once again in full length - VB is one of my all-time favorites on Exile.

I hope for those who are going to the shows that Moonlight Mile is a keeper, that would be great with MT.

On Friday 7th the first ones to come to rehearsals were Darryl Jones and Chuck Leavel.
Then Charlie Watts and Mick Taylor.
Then Ronnie wood:

Then Mick Jagger:

Keith Richards did not come.
A lucky fan received drumsticks from Charlie:

And for the first time I could meet Bjornulf!

Is Taylor rehearsing all these numbers with the band? Sounds like he's becoming more of a permanent fixture which, along with how well he is looking compared to previous years, is good news.

Waitaminute - you're sayin' that Mick T. joined in rehearsals right from the beginning and played all those songs with the band??

Any confirmation or correction of this greatly apprechiated!

Well unless we get word from someone inside, we won't, it's anybody's guess if he played on everything. He probably wasn't needed on Respectable, SOL and D&G since Mick J. plays guitar on these. But She's So Cold, ER, dunno, amazing isn't it when you think of it!

@Georges - great pics, thanks for sharing and nice to meet you today!

Well Woody loves Mick T, Charlie is a gent and I think Mick knows having MT on board pleases the faithful and maybe even feels he owes him one. And Keith was absent or am I reading too much into that?

Not only is Charlie one of the last real gentlemen, but he has the most exuberant smile when he sees and hears (!) MT ripping into a solo.

Charlie has spoken very kind words about Mick T., saying it was a joy to have him around. All those guys have such an incredible common history. It's just a pity Bill isn't there.

See earlier in this thread...Keith was busy becoming a grandfather again. It seems he felt it was important to be with his family today.

Thanks again to everyone for the first hand reports. Exciting times!

Because of one bandmember's absence.

Surprised this thread contained so much misinformation regarding Taylor being there from the start.. Can the "insiders" please be the only ones to give the facts, over speculation so far from fans on the street but I admire their devotion....

At what time of the day do they start and stop playing during these rehearsals?

You know the schedule is not supposed to be publised, because the security of the band rely on this kind of information NOT being easily available. Thanks for your understanding.
