Reading these rehearsal set lists makes one a dreamer... I usually don't care a shit what they decide to play - just hoping they do it well whatever they decide to do - but just thinking of "Silver Train" and "Dance Little Sister"... so, instead of playing, say, such songs like "All Down The Line", "Bitch" and "Live With Me" - kind of songs that are not 'war horses' but still rather regularly played numbers in their last tours - they would play either (or both) of these tunes. I think they would serve rather well in representing that type of rockers in their shows. Besides, I could imagine they could also perform them as good as they could do those other mentioned songs, with or without Taylor. Probably they are not so well-known or even good, but still good, solid rockers that I think could work well live.

Just a thought, though... typical fanboy stuff, don't judge me too harshly...winking smiley

Dance little sister requires MT in shape. Put on your headphone and listen to the original.

Actually it needs as little or much Taylor in shape as, say, "All Down The Line" does... only a die-hard Taylorite hears that there is a fundamental difference based on that factor.grinning smiley I would happy to stick 'only' with Ronnie if they they just choose to play this number live. Besides it was smokin' hot when they played it in El Mocambo/Mojito/Columbo (or whatever that was)...

Great to see what they might play in 2014. I wouldn't mind if they play Don't Stop, once in a while, in stead of say Start Me Up.

Hi everybody,

Yesterday I made a detour to the George V hotel and got there around 8:50 p.m. I arrived too late within a few minutes. I tried again tonight as I finished my work early and I arrived on site at 8:00 p.m. Charlie, Ronnie arrived around 8:40 and bingo, I got an autograph from Charlie on my Beggars Banquet. Thank you Charlie !

grinning smiley You know, after all I'm just a hangaround member (at best) in Taylorite Club...

But that said, I'd love to hear Taylor there. Him - in a good shape - would, of course, be the best scenario for this song (and as for "Silver Train" as well). But in my idealism there is always a bit of realism involved, and besides, I think Ronnie Wood is in a good form, so I assume he would do a fine job there (okay, here goes any hopes for the membership...cool smiley) Actually, I think Ronnie (with Taylor) was the hero of 50 AND COUNTING.. (I wasn't so impressed of Keith as many have been, and Mick and Charlie are somehow so obvious that they don't surprise in greatness).

Charlie signed a vinyl for me in 2003 too despite security staff who tried to persuade him I was a fake fan

Charlie is passing this guy by with a look that says sorry mate I'm just here to work. Which is basically his attitude during a tour I think. Does he sign many things for fans?
Last year in Burbank it was Charlie that came out and signed autographs for fans.

Wow, "Heartbreaker", and "Love in Vain"! I hope they play these songs in concert. Did anybody hear, how the guitar soloing on "Sympathy" sounded this time?

Love in vain, Memory Motel and Can' t you hear me knocking, what a day. Was about to take the Eurostar down to Paris, but they don't rehearse at weekends. Tried to get a few days off work but could not. Thank you for all the great reports. Hope you get to see a club gig on Monday.

Another one there got his signature. You can see it, if you watch the video posted by somebody before. The only autograph he gave before he got into the car.

Mick Taylor should not be expected to be present for the first day or even the first week of rehearsals. He is a special guest on the tour, he has not rejoined the Stones nor will he be asked to. Like last year, he'll show up eventually and rehearse a few numbers, but he won't have a more involved role than on the last leg of the tour.

...and that sucks mightily.

Silver Train!!

Now we just need Had It With You, Time Waits For No One, Star Star and Little Queenie, and the setlist is done!

Well Silver Train is a good start.

But I'm hoping for:

Doncha Bother Me
Stupid Girl
Out of Time
Heart of Stone
Moonlight Mile
Casino Boogie
Dance Little Sister
Melody
Lies
Slave

They must have read my list last night! One down nine to go. cool smiley

I met Charlie six times. Each time he signed for me CD covers, book,…
Each time, he signed easily.
However he does not like to be taken in photo.

After you already got his autograph, why did you keep bothering the poor man for more autographs? If you see him again, just shake his hand and say hello.

So happy to see the rehearsed Love in Vain. That's the one for me. Been hoping for it since they played it at Echoplex, of which, no video or even audio recording has et surfaced.

My dream is to witness Taylor replicate his amazing solo on the version from Ladies and Gentleman or Philly Special II.

My luck it will be played only at the club gig, where of course, no cameras will be permitted.
