Silver Train would be nice. It would be a great idea for the Mick Taylor guest spot.

They have played "All Down the Line" and "Rocks Off" enough that it would not kill them to throw in "Silver Train" for one tour.

Outside the Cutting Room last year, it was clear even to me, outside the artists' entrance, that 95% of the people who had albums etc. ready to be signed weren't genuine fans, yet Ronnie stopped and signed stuff pretty randomly then, too. Maybe he just gives people the benefit of the doubt, or doesn't care if they make a profit off him on eBay.

SILVER TRAIN was interesting... First it was barely to be heard in-between all the trucks, traffic, trains, wind and you name it. That is because they did a play-back of the song just to listen. Then they started working on it. One time, two times, and by the third time that good old Silver Train was back there just like I remember it originally many many years ago. Extended version. guitars. Everything. Just wish it will debut on this tour.

Doom & Gloom is just a song you have to love live. Waiting On A Friend a favorite. Angie, Ruby and If U Can't Rock Me. A good day's work for the Stones!

They did the same play-back of the studio recording for the "She Was Hot" rehearsals in Europe during 2003 ..... which,of course,never made it into the live concerts for that tour .... but did end up being played live on stage during the next tour after that (the 2006 / 2007 portions of the "A Bigger Bang World Tour") .

Can I ask the obvious question here and sorry if its not the done thing but would anyone be able to tell me where the rehearsals are or which hotel this is?
I'm in Glasgow , Scotland but I'm giving serious thought to travelling to Paris next week in the hope of meeting my idol Keith Richards. I've tried about 9 or 10 times in the UK and America but it just hasn't happened. I've been fortunate to meet Charlie and Ronnie a few times. I even worked with Bobby Keys late last year on my new record.

I'm a die hard fan. You all seem a cool, informed and friendly bunch and I wondered if anyone would be able to help me out with some info. My email is info@raymondmeade.com

We aren't allowed to give hotel details away, shhhhhh but if you watch the video footage closely you'd work it out: same place they always stay in Paris and many other cities around the world - not hard to guess if you think of the seasons that make up a year!!!

here is a sample from 2012:




As it is the same location I think it would sound similar this time because as you can hear it is recorded from the street. But I don`t know. I wasn`t there

That must have been recorded on a warm October day when windows and/or doors were open, remember this is February...so don't count on getting anything close to that this time around.

RTL2 (radiostation) tweeted again about the Trianon around noon.
Wondering if the so-called GDF conference has been moved elsewhere...

The guy who told his experience as an insider at ECHOPLEX 2013 said that the RS Team came days before to totally check-out the place and see if it'll work.
I think the venue already knows it if the Monday date is the real one.

I've got an insider at Universal, I'll try to investigate and report to you guys later.

Judging by how they did it on rehearsal in the Four Flicks DVD, I wouldn't have very high expectations
