Can someone tell us HOW you hear the rehearsals?? Are you allowed inside the room or can you all hear through the walls? And WHERE are the rehearsals?

You have to spend the day and the evening waiting outside, so it is not really a nice inside event. Sorry but the address of the rehearsals can not be published on IORR due to security reasons. There are two million people on IORR, and if you google Stones rehearsals then IORR is on the first page. We don't want nut cases to have an easy job finding out where they are.

Dang. I've been flying 100,000 miles a year and the only famous people I've seen are Jensen Button and Mary J Blige.

These are the same old " Darryl Jones Era " songs as usual. The quasi - rare songs such as Live With Me , Dead Flowers , and Rocks Off are great but,I would not consider this to be digging into the catalog.

It is encouraging to see that they may not cut Doom and Gloom out. Otherwise,the only semi-highlights to me are Shine a Light , Let it Bleed , Imagination , Worried About You , and When the Whip Comes Down .

This was just the first day, so I think some rare songs will be played on the next rehearsals.

And Mick Taylor????

It looks like a "core" band session at this point, just the 4+2 of them, but since we first heard about the Paris rehearsals from Bobby Keys it's likely the "extended" band with Lisa, Bernard, Bobby, Tim and Mick Taylor will join them later. It doesn't sound like a positive sign of Taylor being worked into more songs but who knows...anyway, it's priceless (literally) to hear these guys hammering it out together at this point in time, one day we'll look back to these days and...oh well let's enjoy it while we can ;-)

I'm waiting for rehearsals of "Citadel","Winter", "Coming Down Again","Soul Survivor,"I Don't Know Why" and "Time Waits For No One" with Mick Taylor!

Mick Taylor was present at the Los Angeles rehearsals late April last year, as it was easy to hear his unique guitar style during songs like Can't You Hear Me Knocking. So far he is not present at the Paris rehearsals, there are only the 4+2 of them, but I am sure he do know exactly what to do and how to blend in, as he is one of the best blues guitarists when it comes to this kind of songs, and he was there making them, so I would not worry too much. I am sure he will be around at one point, as it is now 17 days left until they are on stage in Abu Dhabi.
