there are single Pit tickets in Brisbane available right now. However these are not secondary market back on sale tickets. The restricted side views mostly come late. I rather assume that this is to lay down the secondary market at least for a while. I hope that all who still tried to score a ticket did get what they wanted.

Still able score a single ticket for Brisbane in the Pit. So just to let you know if anybody is interested to go. Frontiertouring code is required.

Pit Brisbane tickets have been listed as 'limited availability' since I was trying since yesterday afternoon.

However, I have tried many times and never even been able to pull up a single ticket.

Strange it would have worked for me this morning even. But only 1 pc.

Just scored 2 Pit tickets for Brisbane at 7am this morning!

Now I gotta sell my other pair, in addition to one Sydney and one Melbourne. All this upgrading is tiresome and risky- I wish I just had a shot at the good tickets in the first place!

Well it seems that both ticketers don't work very well at the moment and are sleeping slow. I even get false pages when I tried it out. Perhaps they don't want me to try if tickets can be scored. Anyway all the ones who still try good luck.

Likewise Hanging Rock. I just pulled up a nice seat right near the walkway.

But, as ever, you need deep pockets.

EDIT: Hanging Rock tickets are on Ticketmaster.

Unsold VIP packages released into the general sale, so all the best seats became available. I got pit for Brisbane 2 weeks ago, and there were much better seats available than what I got when I was first in line.
Upgrading has cost me a bit in eBay fees, but at least I have manged to sell all of my original tickets.

I scored front row Adealide tix in a Diamond package, massively overpriced, but hey, front row....I couldn't throw them back.

Anyways, report from Abu Dhabi that stage was 3 mtrs high and guy near rail on Keefs side couldn't see Ronnie and felt he was far back and ripped off.

Surely Adelaide and hanging rock will use a stones staging that is fair to fans?

I'm thinking, and hoping, that Abu Dhabi was the band playing on what was already a permanent stage....

The Hanging Rock set up is here...

Resembles the old B-stage setup.

looks same as Adelaide with ramp out into crowd.

I've got a feeling that the same stage as will be used in all outdoor and large shows- Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, Adelaide, Hanging Rock and Auckland. Will be a shame if the front rows have a restricted view.

If that's the same stage they're going to use for all outdoor shows, I'm sort of happier to be back 17 rows. Hopefully won't get view cut off too much.
From the front row vids I've watched of Abu Dhabi, it's like this huge wall in front of the guy.

I've emailed frontier and contacted IEC entertainment thru FB re concerns and passed on this review from the Abu Dhabi thread :

I was the second in the line of the fire pit. So when I arrived in the pit, I directly chose Keith side near the front row and on the catwalk.

I was very disappointed if this show. The main reason is very simple. The stage is SO HIGH. Approx. 3 meters. I never saw ronnie!!! Never!!! The gap between the stage and the fans was to big, even more than Hyde Park. The stage is definitely horrible. I paid 800 euros to be very far and to see very bad, it's a shame. Even the manager of Keith who is always taking pictures was so angry about the height of the stage. Only classic songs and no surprises...

Well, it's not that I want to complain but the American tour with the tongue pit was so much better. The band was so closed with the fans. And I don't feel this anymore. I'm sure the shows in Australia with the tongue pit will be amazing. But the Rolling Stones are definitely not made to do stadium shows.

I want to see them again but not in this terrible configuration.
