"Let's Spend Some Time Together" was sung for the only time on The Ed Sullivan Show. People in America probably watched it after watching Green Bay beat KC in the first World Championship aka Super Bowl. Nice day to own at tv in '67.

Both my future wife and I were 16 and living in SoCal (didn't know each other then). She went to the "Super Bowl" with her dad, at the LA Coliseum, and I watched the Stones sing that song that night on Ed Sullivan. We had it all covered!

I finally got to go to a Super Bowl, number XIV at the Rose Bowl, the Steelers vs. the LA Rams. It was a great game, but my favorite team lost!

Super Bowl 1 and SB 2 weren't called the Super Bowl until the third AFL-NFL championship game was played under the new name of the Super Bowl. Yet go to nfl.com (actually don't) and it says nothing about that little bit of Super Bowl history.

In 1970 the AFL and NFL merged into one leage.

So technically the Stones played the halftime show of the 38th played Super Bowl even though it's officially called Super Bowl 40.
