Here's part 1 of a video interview I did with Stevie Nicks at her house recently. I have adored this woman since I was about 12- still do.

And she's no BS as well. Two memories of her are:

In a VH1 special, having no compunction saying, "While Lindsay was at home playing his guitar I was waiting tables to support us both." ZING!

The other one was the docu. on the making of a new album, Christine was still w/the band. Lindsay's whinging as only a California Fruitloop can and Stevie cuts him off, saying, "Lindsay, it was my songs that sold the records and made them go to #1." She says this so matter of factly-like.

And remember, rock and roll is a boys club. She managed to scratch through that & come out on top.

That cracked me up.

A friend of mine went to see him recently, and said all the banter between songs was just so out there and undecipherable it just ruined the show.

As a Californian, I'd like to say the vast majority of us are perfectly normal, fine people. Then there's Lindsey Buckingham.

after the interview, she gave my son and i an amazingly personal tour of her house, her artwork, etc - very down to earth, grounded and charming. not many like her at her level.

Usually choosing Waddy as her guitarman for live concert tours also shows how wise she is.

for all the other Stevie freaks here (myself included), this was my son and she after I wrapped - he is a huge fan -recently photographed his first Fleetwood Mac show for publication - but I think he enjoyed this more.
