He told me that he soon regretted becoming part the stones circus of ego and self importance. He started thinking of leaving after less than 2 years.
Probably ones they didn't mind getting soapy wet from the impending bubble bath. Loaners maybe?

Did some digging and it's possible that 1970 might not be right, could be 1969 or 1970...However it's most likely to be Taylor sitting in with The Keef Hartley Band at The Marquee during 1969 or 1970.

His hair and clobber looks a bit more 1970 than 1969, so let's assume that the photographer is right with the year and I'd say it's probably from this gig on 4th February 1970.

Great pic from Australia '73! Love how that tour differs a bit from '72 and Europe '73, style wise, with variations in clothes, haircuts, instruments, stage, sunlight, etc.
