love that they do this - Winter? how cool-a great wintry subtext for Christmas - and Mick is just as he is onstage- projecting like a knife -is he really that same sleepy, sly and wry interviewee from the long gone days of cavett and gerlado? And Keith is just the way he is - laid back and smoking. Very nice.

Winter is the perfect accompaniment for a Stones Season's Greetings vid. Now that it's been remembered 40 years later maybe Winter will see its proper stage debut in 2014.

I find from that clip that the difference in environments chosen by Mick and Keith are perhaps unintentionally ironic in displaying the dichotomy between the two in how they view the present day existence of the band: Keith is sitting before the production console of a recording studio, having repeatedly expressed the desire for the band to get back to recording new material, whereas just behind Mick is a jukebox. And what does a jukebox play? Hits, favorites, which Mick has conceded to these days, that the fans just want the big hits, the old favorites.

Hopefully Keith will get his Christmas wish and Mick will make a New Year's resolution, and there will be a new album in the works sometime after they wrap-up this world tour.
