crholmstrom you are actually arguing over the use of Xmas!?!? WTF haven't you anything better to do with your life except fighting the against the war on Christmas. Go back to watching Fox news.
The SNL Xmas special was very good, was especially pleased to see Barry Gib show up. Didn't like Justins songs too much but the comedy skits were almost all spot on.

SNL has become so self-congratulatory and full of itself that I can hardly stand to watch it anymore.

I kinda agree, it can be a bit too much sometimes. I don't watch it anymore either, usually don't feel there is enough of a reason to stay up for it.

They have a lot of new talent this year that are still hungry. Not a lot of repetitive skits that are worn out yet. Started this post mainly because I thought it was cool they had Barry Gibb on the Barry Gibb Show skit. He seems to be a good sport & it was nice to see him. I would definitely be interested in hearing new music from him.

Okay crholmstrom, cause it's almost Xmas and I'm feeling good, I'll check it out just for you. Treacle, my friend, I think you've reached your limit on that joke. Go get yourself a cup of java and try again, you can do better. Cheers, ya'll!
The Kardasian Family Singers during "Waking Up With Kimye" was very funny. & the Barry Gibb Show.Quote

Star-studded seems to be the only thing SNL knows how to do these days. It's gotten to the point you can almost see the writer's meetings where they can't think of anything funny so they decide to just parade in a long line of celebrities for recognition applause.

Why can't you type "Christmas"? Did SNL officially call it their "Xmas" show? Did they actually sing the word "Xmas"? Just curious...

Xmas has long been an acceptable way of spelling Christmas.
X (symbol for Christ, from the Greek letter chi (X), initial of Christos Christ) + -mas (in Christmas)
First Known Use: 1551

Merry Christmas to everyone, especially in America where it's a holiday. It's also a holiday here in Canada, as is the 26th being Boxing Day. How many countries is Christmas not a holiday?

Don't know, but I can tell you that where I live, the Chinese restaurants are always open on Christmas Day. Christians make up only 32% of the world's population.
Though it may be hard to believe, there are still some Stones fans who know that the "holiday" is based on the birth of the baby Jesus (the Son of God). Persecute me all you want (as I'm sure you will) but this is the Truth. Wishing you ALL a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a very Happy New Year!!!
