I was p'd off that they kept cutting in and out of the broadcast - they tease us with the indication of a live broadcast and then just show us bits of it!

I'd have to hear it again before I could comment. Kinda like what I heard though.

Very strong vocals of Mick (nearly standing alone, carrying the song), and hard rocking guitars in the refrain and in the parts between the vocals. If we could hear more than one f**king minute, we could say more. The studio version fortunately will have more flow, that was missing a bit. But the melody line is still in my mind, a good sign:-)

Don't know if you recognized it, but I cant remember just 5 of them on stage, and no climperclimper by Chuckthef**k. I love them sounding nearly like in 81/82. And for me thats the right way, going back to the rocking times like 77 to 82. Can't wait to the album. I hope Mick is right, when telling us the album will be "hard hitting, wide spread, with emotional moments".

He told us also, its done to 85%. Disappointing, that there is no title and more information on the album. Or will it be called "On Stage"? Possibly, I think.

If it sounds like the Dirty Work period than we could be in for a hard rocking guitar album which could be very good news.

Listening to it again, I like it better than the first time.
The guitars are really loud and with quite distorted - Keith'd say it's a cousin of "I Go Wild" - it's a good Stones rocker. Mick's vocals were too loud, in my opinion.
But it is great to hear them without Chuck, horn section, etc.

Maybe one could borrow Gazzas catchy words: 'Its hardly rocket science'; gotta be a part of the deal between the "Stones LTD"/company on one side, and the RollingStone Magazine on the other... None of us have saved a whole song on our harddrive, have we... ? But we have a nice pressconference to play over & over...
- The "tapes" would be just smoke curtains, dont you think?

Still, cool, I liked what I heard. And our boys were boiling & thundering & glimmering from raw raw energy, especially the Glimmer Twins!

What a pleasure to see just the 5 guys up there and no backing musicians...who were likely well hidden behind stage. The new song? Not my fave but still a joy to hear.
