Eva (Micks mum) lived around Woolloomooloo (wool-loo-moo-loo i.e sheep shit cow shit). Micks grandfather built a boat that resides at the national maritime museum (source [www.smh.com.au])

Woolloomooloo is a great place for lunch and also to walk along pier and check out the big boats. When the stones were last in town they went out on Oscar which is still berthed at the end. It is the same end of the wharf that Russell Crowe resides.

I saw Ronnie in Queens Street Woollahra a few years back and I think he has family nearby. Woollahra is a nice village also for walk.

Cant wait for tonight

Today was biking day for me in Sydney, so I had planned to bike to Manly.

Do yourself a favour and catch the ferry to Manly - it's the most beautiful ferry ride in the world.

Thanks for the advice about the Manly ferry. I will try that one tomorrow. Today I made my way to Bondi, great places all the way!

And this is how Sydney looks like when you are returning by the seaside from Bondi Beach...

But now it is time to move out to the Olympic Park soon...

And when you get to Manly do at least half of the 9km Manly to Spit walk. Just turn left when you get off the ferry and follow the signs. God, I can see it again as I write this!

No poster and no song vote (yet) is decidedly odd.

Maybe it's too complicated to devise a setlist that treats Mick's throat with respect if songs from a song vote are included. Perhaps NONE of the pre-rehearsed songs for the vote are OK on the throat?

But this change in the song vote call for votes is a bit odd. I hope it does not foreshadow another problem?

This is not a good sign. The Stones organisation is a well oiled machine and to see the pattern of poster/votes get broken is indeed both odd and concerning.

Did I spot an unintended typo there?

"The Stones organisation is a well oiled Machine"

You omitted the upper case! smiling smiley

OK, I've seen a lot of different tongue designs over the years, and I think this might be the worst. That doesn't look like grapes - It looks like some kind of mouth disease.

I edited that very comparison out of my original posting in the (mistaken?) belief that few would know what Smarties are! And as The Rolling Stones are a UK band (see their Facebook page), I refused to use the M&M analogy.

That was a quote from me from the spring of this year, i.e. more than half a year ago. As we all know they did Europe this last summer.
