Ticket will continue to be an issue, it appears. On-line auctions? What would the delivery be...electronic? Any sites you have used that you trust?
Hi 6s7s9s
How could I get a contact with you? I have something to offer.....

The Tokyo Dome is a typical baseball stadium. Unless you are within the first 25 rows in the sections in front of the stage, you are basically going to watch the monitor. Unlike football stadiums, because of the shape of a baseball field, the stands on the side of the stage are faarrrrr away. But, it is what it is. If you live in Tokyo, why not try and find a desperate seller and buy a stand seat for as cheap as you can get it - even from the nosebleeds, I'd rather be at a Stones show than anywhere else I can think of.

Any tokyo residents here know One Eyed Jack's? It is/was a casino and hostess bar in Roppongi. I worked there for a while in the 90's. Apparently the Stones went in there after playing the Tokyo Dome first time around. Unfortunately they did not visit whilst I was there! Great place, lotsa beautiful girls from around the world, happy days!

There are some ticket agencies in Japan and no one has available tickets now.
But I believe that some tickets will be dropped again and again.
Most of those will be nosebleed seats tho.
And more than 1000 tickets are sold on "Yahoo Auction" site but trading is not very active.
Only a few good tickets have some bidders and getting high.
1st and 2nd tier stand tickets are left without a bidder or bought at its face price or even lower.

Foreign hostess club on a side street off Roppongi-Dori, right? Just hostesses, no dancing. I remember it, but I'm pretty sure it's gone. Perhaps the name lives on.

Yes, but as I'm sure you have noticed, there are no tickets being offered in the first 4-5 rows in front of the stage. This leads me to believe that they have not yet sold the tickets that had been reserved for VIP packages.

I am afraid that these hot tickets for 4th row (the front row) were sold already..Maybe not all of them, surely some of them sold to the regular fans. One of my friends bought it from Kyodo Tokyo on phone....While we all tried to buy these tickets through the web page, he got a front row ticket in A8 by calling up the number listed on that web page we were clicking like hell...

Were they priced at "S Ticket" prices? I would be willing to pay what I would otherwise pay for a VIP package.

eplus start issuing hard tickets includes GC to buyers from Feb 4.
We will see bunch of additional ticket in Yahoo Auction next week.
A8, A10 single digit row will be very little but keep watching.

I thought about buying one of those Eplus GC tickets (issuing Feb 4) on Yahoo Auction - it's just like gambling. But I decided not to take a chance, because Eplus was not a major promoter, so their tickets probably won't be that good, right? What do you think?

I think there is not so much difference between pia and eplus.
But as you say, that is gambling.
I guess more than 75% of generally sold GC tickets are Block B or C. I never bet 80000yen on it.

Right now you can win the bidding of GC seats with a little bit more than the face values. It is a gamble but you must remember that once the ticket is issued and turns out be an A8 or A 10 block one, you would have to win a bidding against those who have kept on looking for the same hot tickets. After Feb 4, the prices of these great seats will jump up on the auction site and the ones of the nose-bleeding seats will freefall definitely.

I went for lunch and it was nice. normal business district linch crowd, probably not a lot of Stones fans, but everyone seemed to be enjoying the pictures and the food is good and not expensive (1200 yen or about $11 for a Hamburger steak with rice, salad and soup). Music was turned way down low, but I assume it's because it was lunch time. I am sure they turn it up at night.
I wouldn't go out of my way to go there - it's just a regular bar/restaurant that has put up a ton of posters and photos (the owner has a good collection of photos) and is playing Stones tunes - but if you're in the area, it helps to build anticipation.
