Great, thanks for sharing!
Have you all already seen the link to nominate a song to be played on Friday at the end of this video? Nobody has mentioned it here, if I didn't miss something. I almost overlooked it myself and thought, somebody might want to suggest a song. The six most suggested songs will be up for a public vote after this. I'm afraid it will end with a selection of six warhorses, but one gets a chance to suggest whatever obscurity you want, it seems.
I wonder, if they will play the winner, even if it ends to be a song they haven't even rehearsed (but they probably presume it will be a hit song anyway).

What I can see about the stage is a bit different to the Hyde Park stage. Red floor in the catwalk, just one big screen and a big red/white shaped bow.

I do have photos but when I connect my Samsung EX2F to my PC the PC do not bring up the camera disc. The PC is new so I have to call Bill Gates about what he has been doing. It is a long tour. This worked great last summer when I got the camera.
Mick had a cap and was causally dressed. He saved his voice but it was not like dress rehearsals, so may be they will do more tomorrow. Mick by the way walked a lot but did not run, and again, the sound is fantastic, and the venue is great.

RECOMMENDED MEETING POINT IN ABU DHABI:
Most people come in on show day or the day before, so I will suggest a meeting point on Yas Island at one of the hotels there. They are all in the same area, 20 minutes i.e. 1 1/2 km (one mile) from the du Arena, nice little walk to the arena if you get the taxi to drop you off.
I checked the three closest hotels and I would recommend this one for a meeting point:
CROWNE PLAZA YAS ISLAND - SUNDOWNER poolside bar
It is outside the hotel, facing the sea. Enter the main entrance, make it to the right of the lobby, down the stairs, out through the doors, and they have a great area for food and drinks. Heineken draft and of course Budweiser NA (Non Alcoholic) which taste better than I was expecting. Also regular bud.
Show day recommended meeting time: Friday 4pm

Have you tried all USB slots? For me, sometimes, equipment works fine on one of USB slots while it refuses to work on another... No idea why obviously...

The UAE has seen some giants of rock perform on its shores – Dubai and Abu Dhabi – from Metallica and Bon Jovi to Eagles.
But in terms of rock legends, this act is it.
The Rolling Stones will kick of their 14 On Fire tour at Abu Dhabi’s du Arena, Yas Island on Friday, February 21.
Mick Jagger had earlier said: “Can't wait to be back on stage especially in Abu Dhabi, I am really looking forward to playing all your favourite songs and seeing you all very soon.”
Keith Richards added: “The best place in the world for me is out on that stage. Standby everyone...its back to where we belong, Me, Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and some friends all rocking out together. The wheels are in motion and we’re on our way…see you very soon!”
