if you want to see something (press conference on line... videos and photos from the event) you will have to pay .....

yes I know....I'm crazy... 41 years following to the stones...

…but this could be a good sign for people who already joined - if they don't accept people as new members for a while. They could make a list of old members and give them a chance for good tickets - earlier access or something. I doubt it, but I hope so. I'm not sure, but I think McCartney made it that way.

and 100 dollars for each new member is a good reason

i don't have any real expectations for better access because of being a "pre-existing member", but ... well, i guess we'll find out shortly.
meanwhile, thanks for posting that information, Klaus - rs.com's got technical difficulties up the wazoo right now, and if it weren't for you, i don't know when the existing members would've heard about this "special event". thanks!

The News is probably that:

1) There will be a tour
2) They will release an album
3) You may have a chance to but tickets to goad seats/rows for decent prices (if you pay xxx £ a year... ).
