Hi !
Can somebody help me, how to identify the 2009 Ume CD-re-release of Goats Head Soup, - with the censored Star Star, with the word "Puszy" dubbed over.
From US, - EU, - any special number to look for ?
Remember a lot of angry comment from people, when it came out, - because they thought this censoring was something new ! - But that was in fact how it was in `73, - at least in parts of the world.

As far as I know, there are nothing to look for. It's a one trick pony.
The first run of cd's had the censored version, but it was quickly changed on the next batch of discs.

Ahh - that would explain why it´s hard to get any facts on !
Normally we Europeans thinks of censored stuff, as an American thing -
but then "Rain fall down" came, - 4 censored versions, - all released in Europe - so what to think ? ?
If someone has a copy, with the censored Star Star they want to sell, - or trade - ? - please contact me !

Unless they've released a third version, the "un-censored" version still tries (though not as blatantly as the pu$$y line) to censor the John Wayne line. They bring the guitars way up in the mix, to the point where it actually hurts my ears, to try and drown out the vocals. You can still hear it, but I guess if you didn't know what the line was supposed to be it would be difficult to make out.

Thanks a lot for The Info ! Have to check this ! Up until now, I'am only aware of the uncensored version, the US-censored version, - and the obscure South African-
version.
