I have got conflicting info about the soon to come press conference, but my best bet right now would be Tuesday May 10. This is not based on any official info, but just based on what I hear.
If your mind is on the Stones and when they will announce the tour and how you will get tickets to the shows every hour of the day and night then I have to say we are all in the same boat. The good news are you will know in two weeks maximum, and in nine days most probably.
Update May 3: Press conference confirmed for NYC May 10.

Would have been officially announced by now if it had been the 3rd. So Sir Carlos, get in shape for the tour and keep your running boots and Swedish banners ready......
"Of Course Who will join me on the train/airplane to Gothenburgh next summer huh?" I won´t, I already live there, LOL! But if Gothenburg is the choice, and it seems likely, as the arena has been booked for two not yet named bands, you can rest assured the Nordic Stones Vikings will arrange a big party. And maybe a sightseeing tour of places around the city connected to the Stones. How about seeing the house where Bill bedded redhaired twins? : )
well I was told the 3rd of May and strangely the site is down for maintenace tomorrow and back up on the 4th of May ................Time will soon tell the truth of what is going on .Strangely many people on the licks tour spotted the blimp several days before the conference ....where here there are no ideas except 2 or 3 dates being tossed around...........Several announcements of tours have been made in New York with some different Scenarios but as we remeber that Mick did meet the press at JFK for one tour.................So it is possible for them or Mick to show up at Fenway .......I would think that there would be posts at this time of sightings of the boys or Mick in New York or some people seeing Media stations setting up at Fenway....................I guess will see soon The Source
If the tour is really happening, I'd want to see them in Japan. If they don't come over here, then Europe. Is there anybody who can tell me: to get good tickets, not for an arena, but something like the Rotterdam Ahoy, is it necessary to join that official fanclub. In other words: based on experience from the last tour - when I got the tickets from a friend, so I don't know - is it necessary to join on rs.com as soon as possible?

I heard on 94.7 today, right after they played Ruby Tuesday, to tune in tomorrow around 5 o'clock for a "major announcement." Could mean anything but...
Stonesdoug now also said that the press conference will definately take place in NYC on the 10th of may. User "StageCrew" claims to know that the main sponsor will be a big company that'll change it's name soon - there was a press conference about this company in Chicago last Friday...anyone knows the firm he's talking about?
