They are taking the best out of the Get Back sessions but hey that is a lot of work for just 5 good songs or so.

Compared to how fast Abbey Road was recorded, the Get Back project was mainly a musical fail.

Most of the songs from Abbey Road had already been written during the White Album and Let it Be Sessions.Early versions of Jealous Guy, Mind Games, Another Day, Junk, Back Seat of My Car, All things Must Pass , Isn’t it a Pity we’re rehearsed during the Let it Be Sessions

But I do love “All Things Must Pass”.

What does he have to be jealous about? He's Paul f*cking McCartney. He was in THE BEATLES. Is he jealous because the Stones are still around and his band is not? That's silly. Paul is still playing stadiums just like they are. It's not like he's been relegated to playing in a bar band like some kind of over the hill has-been.

After purchasing the xxxx-dollars "Station To Station"deluxe and "Rolling Thunder Revue" vinyl box, I decided to never buy them expensive boxes again. So I'm getting the 2CD of Let It Be....unless I change my mind.

WTF is his problem with the Stones? Calling them a blue cover band on a apprente attempt at lame shade throwing. I knew that mofo was up to somethign when he avauled himself to all sort of interviews of late and that special where he kind of goes thrpugh his song writing process which was certainly cool to see but gimem a fuggin break...you what always breaks with me with him is no matter what that mofo is still trying to flay Maxwell's Silver Hammer as some kind of genius...holy shit it reminds me of Lennon bitchign about "Paul writing all thsoe grandma tunes which they most certainly were at times"

Dude - I love the beatles and objectively the Stones aren't goign to win any battles on the ultimate scorecard with them. But I submit that that entire Beatles canon could be held up from the Stones output (both studio and live) adn there is a helluva argument imo about who wins that.

John Lennon said the Stones copied the Beatles.So I guess the Beatles were a blues cover band

Had the Beatles never existed the Stones still would have made it. IMO , their early pre Revolvermusic is as great as any in pop music. But a lot of their so called experimental music haven’t aged well and is downright mediocre. Half ofRecolver Pepper and the White Album songs are not great.
