Lovin' "Nothing on Me." It's got the laid-back open-G groove of "Runnin' Too Deep." But the Hammond organ (Ivan?) makes it a little sweeter. The lyric is quintessential defiant Keith:

"That watched me like a hawk
They took me for a walk
They tried to make me squawk

But they got nothing on me"

A nice companion to the outlaw anthem "Before They Make Me Run"!

Substantial Damage has some amusing lines that have me picturing Keith out perhaps with an inattentive, tech-distracted daughter or grandkid:

"What's that thing in your ear? ...

I'm paying for dinner
And might as well not be here"

I thought it was ...«attached to your ear...»

SD grooves!

It is; I was typing from memory. Imagine Keith out to dinner with someone on a hands-free during a conference call. Hilarious.

Weird "Nothing On Me" sounds to me like a cross between Demon and Almost Hear You Sigh. Still not 100% feeling this song, not that I hate it but there's a lot more interesting songs. There's an definite outlaw theme to this album, really no surprise is it?!?!…lol

The line of the record so far might be in "Robbed Blind": "The cops, I can't involve them / God knows what they might find."

You gots to read the instructions on [www.keithrichards.com] !
Yes there are new plaques going up and someone's got to actually go to each site -
C'mon Londoners indeed!

Just checking in here and just seen all this plaque stuff. I wouldn't be any use in checking for plaques as I think it looks like you need a smartphone/tablet? (I still haven't got with the times!).

Looks like someone's got to the first place? I clicked on the plaque sign on Keith's site and listening to the song now! thumbs up

It's 100% clear to me now that Mick no longer has the patience to wait for Keith's songs to develop. The way he composes is so impressionistic -- in a word, unprofessional!

If the Glimmers do get together to record again, Keith should demo his stuff with Jordan the same way Mick and Clifford pre-produce. Then maybe we'll get a balanced offering.

Not suggesting it sounds at all like BTMMR. It's a companion in spirit.

It's quite well made. They placed Facebook and Google retargeting tags on the landing page, so you can be sure you'll see ads for the album download everywhere you surf...

Amnesia has dropped !

Thanks for the heads up, nice to get it in wide (Keith is panned far left and right) stereo after the mono "boot";-) Not the most musical moment on the album but some nice guitars and general instrumentation/production, quite "swampy", a lot better than "similar" stuff like Rockawhile or Infamy. The production reminds me a bit of Macca's "Alligator".
