I'm really puzzled. The album was released on September 18th.
What first anniversary is "coming up"?
I love the album every which way but saying it's "withstood the test of time"
after 8.5 months is a bit much. It can withstand more than that! I know it can

I still love it...but i miss 'One More Shot' solo version.

A very powerful album....It's powerful in the same meaning as Steppenwolfs albums were back in the sixties to my ears...I listens to it a couple a times a month...

Yes I recall it was Turner who started a new anniversary celebratory thread yesterday - maybe he was referring to the release of Trouble as the first single on July 17, 2015?
Either way, a bit early to start planning celebrations ...but I'll raise a glass anyways.

Sure, I'd be happy to. As a classic album, one would certainly want to plan ahead when making Anniversary plans for "Crosseyed Heart". Transatlantic flights need to be booked, venues need to be reserved, opening acts booked, etc.

It seems that to do a proper commemoration of the release of "Crosseyed Heart" one would need to get started right about now.

I have a confession to make! I like that "Nothing On Me" song. Very Stonsey. So now I have agreed on liking at least two songs on the album (Troubles plus NOM). So, it's growing on me!

Blues In The Morning and Amnesia are not «Stonesy»?

After nine months I have to say I really like the first nine tunes. Then the whole thing starts getting a bit boring.

Something For Nothing, Goodnight Irene & Lover´s Plea do nothing for me, sorry.

True highlights: Robbed Blind, Suspicious, Blues In The Morning, Just A Gift. The remaining songs are decent, nothing earthshaking but quite enjoyable.

To release a ten-or-twelve-track-album would have been the better choice - like so often.

I really love this album. Still holds up and to my ears no real clunkers. I seriously don't think the upcoming stones album will hold up next to it. I hope I'm wrong
