Doom and Gloom is a usless and very poor Mick's solo song. It would be good for Goddes in the Doorway!

You may think it's useless, I think it's a pretty decent effort that got lots of airplay. This new one from Keith has zero inspiration, it's fine..... I agree with Paulywaul. The open g thing just sounds tired.....

Pretty decent or useless...anyway a poor song. Open G sounds tired? Long life to Open G!

If Doom & Gloom is "useless", Start Me Up is useless too. The Stones themselves are useless then.

Doom & Gloom is a fine Stones-song, it electrifies me every time I hear it. Wish I could say that of Trouble. If any output from the Stones-camp ever was "useless" then Trouble pops up number one. But it is fine with me, that some people really do like it. Maybe some of you are delightet, because it is a new song. Maybe your minds will change within a week, a month, a year. Maybe not. Go on and like, it´s alright with me, but PLEASE stop calling this song "great". It simply isn´t. At best it´s 4 minutes that dont hurt too much.

Trouble sounds familiar with previous Keith and Winos tracks, some mean guitars and drums, I imagine this track played live with cranked up amps that would probably make some fans stiff frozen like: "Rotterdam 92 concert".

Take away the fact that this is Keith Richards and I bet 100% not many people would like this.

So much more enthralling music out there. Open your ears people.

I was somewhat underwhelmed on first listen, but the track is definitely growing on me with each further play. Steve Jordan's drumming is so very recognisable. There is a comforting familiarity in the sound, certainly. I'm looking forward to hearing the album in it's entirety, for sure. Good job, Keith!

Don't TAKE IT SO HARD HMS. These are the same people who find DON'T STOP and LET ME DOWN SLOW more exiting than DOOM and GLOOM: Hopeless cases...

I like the song - sounds like Keith Richards singing a Stonesy rocker. Guess I know what I'll be listening to this fall .........

Err wrong. Doom and Gloom is useless. Take it so Hard sounds like the stones even though its Keith, but doom and gloom sounds nothing like the stones even though it is the stones. give it some thought.
Trouble is pure genious something you will never understand winking smiley

How you can hold doom and gloom and start me up in the same light shows your ignorance. you know nothing about the rolling stones.

Doom And Gloom is clearly the STONES. You hear it and you know it and you feel it. Take It So Hard may be sounding like the Stones, but the Stones with their singer on vacation. Doom And Gloom almost shines as bright as Start Me Up, it´s a modern Stones-classic.

I am increasingly gob smacked at the lack of understanding that people are showing on this post.
They for instance don't like Keith's new single, Trouble.
Did they want or expect a Dave Gilmore with Jimmy Page collaboration guested with David Bowie and Beyonce thrown in for good measure. From a Keith Track ???
I mean what did you expect ??
Its beyond being unintelligent, its just plain annoying.
Love me Love me i'm thick.
Is that what your saying.
Keith is a genius, Trouble is genius. Oh ok so you dont get it .!!!
you people should really try to listen to gangster rap or something, if the stones music don't do it for you any more.
And don't tell me your entitled to your opinion , when i am equally entitled to mine..

Gosh, Waddy Wachtel looks more and more like the one of the in-drag characters from that Rolling Stones photo-shoot, circa 1966.

Hey man, I already posted twice that I like it, and I still like it. Why bother about those who don't like it. Just have a couple of smileys with beer and enjoy. And look forward to the new album.

My previous post had a typo error. I have rectified it. sorry for the confusion.
I meant to say i have heard about the album and it is fantastic.

Ah so you have not heard the Album?

Well i know the future, so in that sense i have heard it.
