Mick Arrives In LA Sept 16 - paparazzi frenzy
Posted by: Cocaine Eyes ()
Date: September 19, 2013 13:25

Mick Jagger The Rolling Stones paparazzi frenzy arriving at LAX from London after supporting his daughter Georgia May Jagger during Fashion Week sept 16, 2013 at LAX in Los Angeles, CA, United States.

This seems to be too close for comfort, in my humble opinion:

Where's Clive when MJ needs his height and bulk?

What a strange life it must be for MJ at times like that.

Thanks, Cocaine Eyes.

Good ole Mick!
Looking like he is headed out to play some golf.

He could have signed a few autographs kinda deuschy to ignore the fans.

I saw a photo stream from the same event on Facebook, and thought pretty much the same thing as above--1. he's got "leave me alone" written all over him, and 2. how strange it would be to be him, sometimes.

I didn't see any fans, just obnoxious, loudmouthed morons.

A lot of those people, who know about his arrival in advance, hence they just happen to have Stones albums with them, are just planning to sell his autograph on eBay. Jimmy Page hardly signs autographs at all anymore, for that reason.

How on earth did they find out about his arrival? Must be a inside tip.

I wonder at what point someone is old enough and they know will never spend all of the money they have, even if they live to be 110 years old, and they will have excess millions to pass onto their heirs, plus some after that... and they just say fk it, I am flying in private jets into small private airports from now on, just to avoid all of the hassles of flying commercial.

I know it cost 20K++, but does it really matter when one is worth a billion Dollars? Why not enjoy the luxury of it all? You cant take it with you.

And I agree with Koen, I didnt see any fans either...
I just dont understand the whole concept of people scrambling to get things signed and then they sell it to people who want to buy autographed crap? where they didnt get it signed in person... what is the point? Isnt it a good assumption that if you didnt see it signed, it is fake?

Someone on the plane got on his cell phone (is my guess) and called an LA buddy and word got out, so jamokes with Rolling Stones albums in hand showed up demanding autographs.
Mick probably does go via private jet 95% of the time so that he does not get bum rushed like this. Definitely he should fly into LA via private jet. If Mick flies into Toronto on a regular commercial flight he won't get hassled like this.

If he flies to Bombay India he won't get mobbed. New York City he will

Good for Jimmy Page. With eBay as a quick and easy sales outlet the obnoxious autograph hounds have gotten exponentially more obnoxious.

MIck is bugged by a bunch of paparazzi and professional autograph hunters. They are like wild animals all over him. No mercy, no manners. Poor Mick is holding on to one of the minders just to feel safe. These guys are the reason why rehearsals, hotels, where they go, where they stay and what they do can never be published. We had a bunch of them in Toronto 2005, but Paris 2012 was fans only. Poor Mick, many people seem to forget he is still a human being. The fact that he is rich and famous does not give people the right to crawl all over him with records they are selling in eBay...

If I was Mick,I wouldn't sign anything in that frenzy.
Give the guy a break and leave him alone in those circumstances at the airport or anywhere realy.
Catch him in a fairly quite situation and not eating a meal or deep in conversation, and I'm sure he will be fine and friendly. confused smiley

Totally agree. Those people aren't getting autographs for themselves. They do it for a sale. I bet the same people are there right know trying to get somebody elses. Would you really bring "She's The Boss" album for Mick to sign? He probably heard that Jagger was coming and went to a used record bin down the street and bought it for a buck.

I read the comments before viewing the footage and I was expecting quite bad but it wasn't as bad as all that.

Someone off the top calling him Mickey was annoying. I noticed someone with a vinyl copy of She's The Boss...that was actually funny. Right at the end of the clip I think I saw GYYYO as well.

Overall all a tad annoying but it wasn't 'Out of Control'...I think all the celebs at LAX get this sort of treatment.

Just another day at LAX. Doubtless those same paps and autograph hounds rushed over to another terminal shortly after Mick's car pulled away.

Gotta agree with you. Many of these guys are pros who are looking to make a buck. They probably waited hours for him to arrive and got nothing... except a video of a rock star not in the frame of mind to deal with the nonsense...

I have heard that the paparazzi have people (should say THEY PAY people) at all of the hot spots, all over LA.... from LAX, to bars, hotels, restaurants, The Grove, etc etc everywhere... and they pay them to reveal who will be where/when. I guess it all pays quite well, with some companies like TMZ making tons of money of its syndicated TV show and itsand other websites and some paps selling the right pictures for a lot of money.

I expect they have people on the airlines letting them know who's on the flight before it even takes off.
