So fansince1964 (HJof); it seems that we´re having a voting problem here.
Maybe it would be more rational to create some different categories; (e.g.)
BEST COVER (3 songs?), BEST ORIGINAL SPECIAL TREAT (1-2-3?) and MUST-PLAY-SONGS (10?)... Whatcha say, westcoast brother HJof?

---

Btw it seems like we´re some people here that really like "That´s How Strong My Love Is" is a 'Stones classics in their own rite', to borrow turd´s words. Marta/webnanker (you almost have the same name as my wife!): "I never will forget how they played at Olympia in Paris in 2003. The emotion Mick put on it was incredible."... On the whole, webnanker/marta, your motivation behind wishing this song is wonderful.
...I didnt see no Licks gig, cause I hadnt got infected by the Stones-virus by then... But since I saw the dvd from the tour (Paris?) with this very song. I already was in love with the Stones-version before.

Well Baboon Bro this could really go on for a long time and splitting it up in categories may be a good idea. Though I feel we can extract the different kinds of song from the original list. I mena I can tell which songs are covers. So when the final update is posted here I can make one list with the total wotes and one with each different category from that one!

I mean people have 3 votes so if they just would put in there from one to three it won't be to hard to extract them from each other!

How come Stones fans always come up with such a long list of songs they like the most? You ask for one song max, and you get half a dozen. You ask for 3 songs max in a list, and you get a list of 10-20. I am sure if I asked for the top 10 songs from an average Stones fan, I would get a list of 20.

Either Stones fans can't count, or we just love their songs so much it's impossible to choose.

When asked what Stones song I love most, I use to say: I have three children. Nobody ask me what child I love the most. I love them all, just as much, of course!

Ok, Ville. Bad hair-day again. For me. (LOL at me)
IF they did I Wanna Be You man, that woudl be a Monster-cover, then.
Just thought it would be a funny thing. Nothing important.
Maybe doin Liverpudlian Monster-cover is a common thing to do for the Stones. what do I know. Anyway; I already left my votes, long before the monster-post.

Hi BV!"

Nice of you to pop in and have a comment on this topic.
I've had that question on my mind too.
Hopefully it's just that we love too many songs so it's hard to
pick up 3 songs only. And there are a couple of songs to choose from!

Well Baboon Bro you must have had a real bad hair day, cause
I'm not Wille. You misplace Wille as me. But I'm Hans from the
west coast of this beautiful country. Living in Halmstad remember?

Tomorrow I will compile the wish list and update it for "The last time"

I wanna hear STONED...very classic stuff...the early Stones signature sound.
The bass is ominous, with blasting harmonica solo and killer lead guitar.

Who plays lead on this...Brian?
It's amazing.

Rolling Stones, make this a memorable tour by playing the following songs:

1. Emotional Rescue: Put this in the Miss You slot. The audience would love it

2. She Was Hot: Make this overproduced song come to life live. Make it the barnburner in place of If You Can't Rock Me or Rocks Off

3. Pretty Beat Up: Incredible overlooked funk rocker. Put this in the extended jam slot

4. Time Waits For No One: Make this the centerpiece of the small stage. Bring back Mick Taylor to do it justice, share the spotlight with him

5. Tanqueray: Keith, this is your tribute to Johnny Johnson and would fit perfectly in place of Nearness of You

6. Sure The One You Need: C'mon, give Ronnie his due

7. Everything is Turning to Gold: What a party, this would blow up the room, do this in place of Dance Pt.1

8. Too Tough and Silver Train: Two more rockers that deserve a chance to shine live

9. Slave: Another excellent extended jam centerpiece

10. Memo From Turner: Not much chance of hearing this but would be amazing at a club show

11. She Smiled Sweetly: One of the most unique ballads, worked well in the club show last time

How about Stoned as an instrumental opener??? Or any other Nanker Pheldge song...

I'm still voting for "Down in the hole"

Hey, good people. Would you try to limit yourselves to three songs.
You who have voted or posted more than once (myself for example, at least the latter); could you either edit your posts or - probably easier - post again and make a definite wish list with three songs & also mention that you have figurated before... See; me and fansince1964 (HJof) are gonna try to distribute the lists thru either Charlie or Keith in a "Top-.. 100? or so"-list with statistics for the boys to contemplate over when making the setlists.
...Or what do you say, fansince1964; am I not right... ? So, if you feel you have the time and want to make some kind of serious common wish list. Best regards from a sunny subarctic Baboonville.

Hey Baboon Bro!

I'm right with you and I've not done a update on this list yet!
But I will do it tomorrow and then it'll all be over with the votings.
I will go for the 3 top ones on every post here even if there's 20 songs
in the post.

So I'll be back tomorrow with the update!

So excited by the pressconference tomorrow!
