Glad the Packers don't play Denver this year. This Manning/Welker combo looks like it could get frightening.

Edit: That Manning/Thomas hookup just now was really awesome too.

I'm unable to go to a lot of games but I think this one is going to be worth the effort. The NFC West is going to be quite a battle this year. I'm looking forward to it! I recently had a battle with Ticketmaster regarding a disabled access seat for the Jacksonville game the following week. The CEO of Ticketmaster got involved & they changed the way they handle those seats in the whole system. I got a personal apology, change in the system & they threw in a club seat (nice!) for the 49er game on the 40 yard line. We are going to try to officially set Guiness world record for crowd noise that game. Look forward to sparring with you all season. I hope it goes down to the last week!smileys with beer

I've never gotten used to Seattle being an NFC team. Even though they were in the NFC their first season (before I was born), they were in the AFC for 25 years.

It took awhile but I'm there now. As a long suffering Seattle sports fan, I feel this team has the potential to take it all the way. I had reservations when they hired Pete Carroll but I think he is seriously on to something. We lucked out hugely with Russell Wilson. It was only a little over a year ago that it looked like Matt Flynn was going to be our quarterback. Looks like that would've been a disaster. He can't even start for the Raiders! I've got some years on you but the Raiders were my team before the Seahawks were created. Pathetic now. I'm psyched & can't wait for Sunday morning! "Go Hawks" - Russell Wilson

Good for you! Stick it to those bastards...I stopped going to games after Steve Young retired...I did one more after that. Now I enjoy the game and the beer prices far better in my living room.

Keep the 12th man quiet. Colin is concentrating...

Havn't watched a football game in it's entirety since the Stones toured in '75.

It will be intersting to see how it all plays out.
The top guy here, after one game played, scored 175 points,
but he was loaded with Denver players....

Its not too late to join a league... You can enter, picking players
up the time they kick off the ball. I like to play FF mainly to force me
to keep track of who is doing what around the league, versus only
tracking my team and players.

Bills gave the Patriots all they could handle. They are a young team that needs to learn how to finish. Too many mistakes.

I've heard that since 1994.

Packers could have played better, but could have played much worse. After the beatdown SF gave us in the playoffs last year, I'll admit, I was just hoping they'd keep it close.

I'm so mad at Clay Matthews though. What an idiot hitting Kaepernick out of bounds like that. Regardless of the botched call by the refs, if dipshit Clay had just not committed the penalty it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
