some rewrite of rumours taken from on the IORR web, already known, or if they actually say something new. To me it seems like they talk about a show by Copacabana beach area, and/or Maracana stdium, plus also Sao Paolo???

Rolling Stones fará show no Brasil

Globo Online

O grupo Afroreggae, de Vigário Geral, abriria o show.

My portugues is a bit rusty, but as far as I understand the author talks about a possible free concert in january on the Copacobana beach, with the group Afroreggea as opener. For the rest nothing new: possibly their last tour which will start in Boston, Micks brazilian son, a short history of earlier shows in Brazil...

A free concert on the Copacobana beach sounds a bit far fetched, not?

Rolling Stones will do show in Brazil

Globe Online

RIO - THE group Rolling Stones to turn for the third time the Brazil. Second informed this Thursday the column of Ancelmo Gois, in the newspaper "THE Globe", Mick Jagger and his group should do a show in the Beach of Copacabana of grace.

Still agreement with the column, the businessman Luis Carlos Niemeyer, former president of the BMG, is setting right the last details for the presentation, that should happen in January of the year that comes.

The group Afroreggae, of General Vicar, would open the show.

The Rolling Stones should do the same show of the tour that will be initiated in Boston, U.S.A., in August. Second reported the newspaper "The Sun" in the beginning of the month, this will be able to be to last and to more long tour of the band. The group is completing 43 years of career and will be able to stop nearby the year of its cinqüentenário. But had no proclamation of the band in this sense.

Fairer nothing the presentation in Brazil, country that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, with 61 years, Charlie Watts, of 63, and Ronnie Wood, of 57, are going to do shows and stroll. Jagger has a Brazilian son, with the presenter of TV Luciana Gimenez.

To first passage of the Rolling Stones the Brazil was with the tour of "Voodoo Lounge", in 1995. The Monday was in 1998, with the show "Bridges I have Babylon". The presentation of 95 was inside the festival Hollywood Rock, when still could be done shows with the name of a mark of cigarette as the sponsor of the event and happened in the Maracanã. The Monday, was in the Apoteose. In the twice, they also touched in São paulo.

I would not be surprised. They did a free show in Toronto. Well people paid 20 Canadian dollars but the Stones did not ask for "regular fee". May be the tourist authorities in Brazil put some money on the table, like they do in Spain.

I think they got a kick out of the big crowd in Toronto, and now they look into booking the biggest venues some places. Dublin, Wembley. Maracana. Copacaabana. Olympiastadion Munich. Hockenheim. With the right ticket price they could sell out any venue.
