what about this one as an intro ?

HI,
I'm sure that "Too Tough" would be simply great to open the future tour .
keith with his Tele on an open G tuning would leave us agape...
Keith at his best ! and then, Charlie goes boum boum boum...

Totally agree, I`ve sent it to bv for the wish list yesterday.

"I´ll take you 20 rounds, I`m just too tough, too tough!" That´s all about the Stones longevity.

Great riff, beat and chorus! A must!

An excellent opener for the fans, but 90% of a stadium crowd wouldn't have a clue what it was.

They shouldn´t give a damn, it´s driving track and just rocks. I always prefered opener they hadn´t used before. Brown sugar was used in 72/73, JJF in 69/70. They should try out other songs to open the show with.

As an intro to this new tour I would like to hear and see the Stones go way back to their roots.

It would be great to hear Keith start up "Bye, Bye Johnnie" with that characteristic Chuck Berry rythm.

From then on just hit it hard with astonishing rockers, "Too tough" included

It wouldn't surprise me at all if "Bye Bye Johnny" was put into the setlist, as a tribute to Johnnie Johnson. D'ya think Keith might mention this one in rehearsals?

How about Sympathy for stadiums

"please allow me to introduce myself" is a great opening line.

for arenas ; "Honky tonk Women"

for clubs/theatres ; "Let it Rock" ?????????

Well bassplayer617

I don't know how much Keith can influence the set list, but hopefully
he can.

Hmmm, do we, as die hard fans really have to care about the tourists? I think we should be egotistical for once, and only wish for what we would like.

No, of course not. But Mick certainly does. He wants to entertain the masses.

This time Chuckie will do a 15 minute plinking solo intro. As a blessed performer he will rock the audience by shaking his bearded head.

Only if Mick masturbates while singing it

That would be cool!!

Keef of course is a complete queer and would like to teabag Billy Preston and I bet teabags Charlie's wrinkled little sack.

How about "I Wanna Be Your Man?"

I think they should have The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' as an intro when the lights go down then burst onto the stage doing 'The Last Time'. This would of course lead every media hack in the world to proclaim it was definitely the last tour then they could open the 2008 World Tour with 'Fool To Cry'.

"One hit to the body" would be perfect - for me! Okay, if they don't choose that one as an opener they should at least include it in the setlist...

I think they should open with Rip this Joint, Then So Young, followed by Honest Man Of Brewdoo Stew. Yes I know that this one is not on any album but it is probably the best song since Start Me Up. Those three would be a gift for us hardcore fans.

Which is their own tune, its registered on Jagger/Richards,
cause the Verve-lads took it from an outtake on master
(of which I´m sure Gazza or Björnulf or somebody else
would be able to tell more about).

Not too bad idea. I would like to see "I´m Goin´ Down"
as an opener; you dont have to know that song to groove to it.
