Weird musical Seconds

I'm listening to some Stones and wondered about a couple of seconds here and there:
do you think some of those Mariachi horns by whasshisname on "Idian Girl" are canned? He has done some serious synth stuff with Scritti Politti e.g. There are some real synthy sounding ones in the lower register.
On the song "Some Girls" after the "black girls" when it goes into the next chorus "so give me all your money..." it almost sounds like and edit. Anyone else hear that?
And a farout second is on Ya-Ya's "Carol" when Keith answers every vocal line with his guitar. Except once, I think it's right after "don't let the heat over come you when they play so loud", he lays out and just lets the band chug it for a couple bars. That is perfection.

I'm more than a bit impressed by the work on the xylohone by Nicky Hopkins on Indian Girl. It's both smooth and sublime.
