I'm going too. I find it much more interesting and rewarding to see/hear real the essence of music the way it is played by great musicians than the whole circus or spectacle, whatever you want to call it, that the Stones have been bringing for decades now. A pity we can't turn back time and get something truly exciting and unpredictable from the 70's again. Even Keith admitted he can't play something spontaneous or have a longer solo or jam as part of a song, since the light show would then get derailed. I guess it's worth putting up with this minor inconvenience for Mr Rock 'n Roll gone Corporate as long as fans are prepared to spend thousands of dollars/euros/pounds each time this money making machine (vacuum cleaner) is set in motion and pushed back onto the road.
LoL Stranger, and people are strange when you're a stranger.... Some good points though, the stones need a radical revamping on their last go, but we also can't expect them to be like they were in the 70s.
Do a Pay-for-View and bring in Taylor & Wyman for (1) night!!!!
do songs from Sticky Fingers (Sway, CYHMK) Exile (Shine a Light, All Down The Line) Goats Head Soup (Hide you Love, Winter) IORR (Time waits for no one, Fingerprint File with Taylor on Bass)
Tell me the "OLD" Stones fans wouldn't DIG IT!!!!!!!!!!!! MLC
