Looks like the Budweiser fans are very eager to proclaim their beer the best but seems to lack the verbal skills to explain why it's the best beer...

Bud's okay. certainly nothing to write home about, but most drink it as it's relatively cheap. Regarding what somebody posted earlier, I, too, noticed a change in Bud about three-four years ago. I thought it was my taste buds (no pun) going south.
Besides, there's a few picture of Mick drinking Bud. And Brian Jones at Monterey (not by choice probably).

Is this thread an AD thread? Like advertising? Is it a paid to post deal?

I ask because it makes no sense. Why post this?
Why reply to this? Why would/does anyone care what beer other people drink?

From beer to coffee...my kind of thread.

It's spelled beignet Owlbynite and I wish I had one right now. I once tried to make them, actually bought a deep fryer just for the occasion. They weren't bad, but I think I was covered in powdered sugar for a week afterwards. smiling smiley

I recently came across a wonderful beer from Spain :

Alhambra, Reserva 1925 (Spain)
This is a very striking package, with all information on the green bottle embossed onto the glass and no label as such. With a very slow fermentation for 57 days, it is definitely a premium beer. The beer pours quite a dark amber colour with a thick, fluffy head that is just off white and really persists. On the nose this is immediately powerful and rich, with dark caramel-like malt aromas and a great depth of oily hops and meaty, earthy notes. In the mouth it is full-textured, but has such immediate bite and crisp, clean, beautifully refined hop oil and chicory flavours that it is clean and refreshing. There is a touch of sweetness in here, and plenty of complex malt notes, in a very, very stylish and enjoyable beer. 6.4% ABV, 33cl, ?1.49, Beersofeurope, Pierhead, Pitfield Beer Shop.

Cheers

Resotele

Bud really only goes well with steamed crabs...not to drink, but to throw in the cooking pot. That way the crabs die happy. Sprinkle liberally with Old Bay Seasoning and you will be happy too.

Bud is the best beer in the world. By far. Pabst is a close second.

What constitutes best?
Is it taste (which is personal) or quality if its ingredience?... Or even something else?

Beers Implicated in Emergency Room Visits

Nationwide, roughly a third of all visits to emergency rooms for injuries are alcohol related. Now a new study suggests that certain beverages may be more likely to be involved than others.

The study, carried out over the course of a year at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, found that five beer brands were consumed most often by people who ended up in the emergency room. They were Budweiser, Steel Reserve, Colt 45, Bud Ice and Bud Light.
