Has anyone heard if Keith has completed the two "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies yet? Or is he still filming? Or in Ocho Rios getting a tan...

I read that the director of the films said that Keith might appear in the third chapter.

Last report was that his asking price was too high. I hope he's working on a dynamite Stones CD.

Don't know about "Pirates" but at this time last year, during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, I saw Keith filming a documentary with Bonnie Raitt. I heard the film was to be called "Southern Nights" and mostly features New Orleans music. Filming took place at the Saenger Theatre in N.O. and was a fantastic show to watch. This was reported on Bill German's site last April, but I have not seen any other info since then. Would really like to know what's going on with that project.

YES! That's the one! A couple of hours after making my post, I turned on WWOZ here in N.O. (www.wwoz.org) and heard an interview with Michael Murphy. The film will be screened here on Thursday night. The interview also mentioned that the film will be distributed to high schools nationwide in the U.S. for use in their music programs. Never thought I'd see Keith as study material!
