I'm not going but I checked Atlanta Night 1 pre-sale pricing out of curiosity.

State Farm Arena's stands have two tiers, 100s and 200s. (Between them there's a not-for-sale ring on the chart I presume are suites.)

The floor's closest seats are Sec 1-3. Next back are Sec 4-6. And smaller sections of floor seats are further back on each side of the Mix area.

It was about 11:05-11:25 AM I looked around. If there had been any sanely priced floor seats in Sec 1-3, the pre-sale ones were gone.

Here were a few SECTIONS, ROWS and PRICES I clicked on:

6 B $947

122 T $455
117 H $856
116 L $455
113 G $860
112 A $1,494
110 CC $1,659
109 HH $1,659

222 E $668
221 A $833
221 B $833
220 E $668
219 D $668
219 A $833
216 F $362
215 C $833
214 B $833
214 D $352
210 B $833
210 D $668

I tried for the Pinnacle in Nashville (4500 capacity), there was one regular price ticket left in the upper level ($400ish) but it disappeared right after I went to checkout. What were left were VIP and AXS Premium (the equivalent of Ticketmaster Platinum)for $1300-$2200 so I bailed out on the Pinnacle.
For Coors Stadium in Denver I had 146,000+ ahead of me in the queue but after a long time I got to the purchase page. I didn’t hunt around very long or make notes of ticket prices, I just wanted to grab something and check out without losing it.
I got Field A7 for $437. While I was in the queue a message came up that all the $109 tix were gone but I don’t know if those were the cheapest.

While queued to look at Atlanta Night 1 a notice like that but for $38 tix was sent by 10:10, and one for $119 tix at 10:36.

There will be some of both again for the General Sale starting Friday. I expect they're token numbers in all cases just to have a come-back to pricing complaints, to be able to say affordable tickets were offered too.

About that $400 Pinnacle single, I saw and clicked on that one too. So did a friend of mine. Makes you wonder… Actually, it pretty much confirms shenanigans. The tactics these companies use are disgusting and dishonest. We’ve also all seen the false sense of scarcity for many shows (whole rows of face value tickets popping up weeks and even months after the general online sale).

About that $400 single--I clicked on that one too . . . I refreshed a couple of times and it kept coming up, and then when I clicked on it it was no longer available.

I refreshed a few times too but couldn’t quite grab it in time. Sounds like that was one slippery little ticket. Oh well, at least I’ll see him again.

I just got two tickets for Paul McCartney at the Pinnacle! Yesterday they sent me an email saying if I followed the link they sent me at 10 o’clock today, I might have a chance at some extra released tickets. I got two on the floor for $400 each after fees. Anyone else going?

Not seeing Macca this tour... too far and too $$$... but CONGRATS! That's a tremendous score!

(I see Robert Plant in a 1,041 seat venue November 2nd and resellers are asking $1k to $3k for seats in the theater I paid $80 for.)

I lived in Charlottesville 2018–19. Have fun at Robert Plant! $400 for Paul McCartney is definitely high, but that was the cheapest they got. I decided not to pass since it’s only 30 minutes from my house.

Biggest Macca fan here but that who needs yet another Wings compilation...with only one non-macca vocal on top of it.

Saved by the Atmos version on BluRay, sadly only available for purchase on the US or UK (and SDE) shops so with high shipping costs.

Paul McCartney Kicks Off U.S. Tour by Playing ‘Help!’ in Full for First Time Since 1965

Macca did perform 50 seconds of "Help!" in a medley of John Lennon songs on the final leg of his 1990 tour, but he hasn't done the full song since the Beatles played Cardiff, Wales, in 1965

Apparently the Pinnacle isn't allowing ticket transfers, so the tickets I got via Ticketmaster (upsell) were canceled. sad smiley

Yeah. I saw that. AXS sells the McCartney Pinnacle tickets. Just checked mine and it has a transfer button. Weird. Sorry about your luck with that. Hope you get to go somehow!

Wow, that sounds like a first (outside of small venues using a wristband) with a venue actually enforcing a "no resale" policy ?

So it seems the original buyer is either going or just wasted money...that's going to mean empty seats !

That was my thought, tbh! The wasted money part, anyway.

There he goes : [youtu.be] !

Gives you a "behind the scenes" feeling. This guy's got several videos that shows interactions you don't usually see, being on the side has its advantages ;-)
