Paul McCartney sub on Reddit is reporting that an NFL scheduler was on the Rich Eisen show, and apparently revealed that Paul is planning to tour the US fall 2025.

Looks like a Fall 2025 tour will be announced soon.

Nationwide Arena in Columbus OH posted a November 8 date earlier today, and subsequently took it down.

The image below was included in that announcement.

Columbus, Ohio is an impressive locale in how often it punches way above its weight in landing concerts. It has Ohio State's stadium and arena, okay, but Ohio does have bigger cities. And other big state university cities don't do anywhere near as well as Columbus. Respect to them.

Actually, Columbus has grown over the years to become Ohio's largest city. I lived there between 1981 and 2015, and before that, went to college and grad school in Cleveland.

No kidding, had to go there to see the Stones on Bigger Bang tour, the last Peter Gabriel tour, and the last Genesis tour

Metro area populations, 2020:
Cincinnati 2.26 million
Cleveland 2.19 million
Columbus 2.14 million

But that's metro areas. Columbus' population must surpass Cleveland's either based on pop. within city limits, or maybe it passed it in metro area pop between 2020 and now.

I imagine the Cincinnati metro area pop is still largest of all, BUT it laps over into Kentucky and Indiana, so it doesn't have the largest population in Ohio of Ohioans. Columbus, which isn't on a state border, doesn't have that issue pulling its in-state resident population down.

A close win, but congratulations, Columbus, I didn't know that had happened. Time marches on. University towns and state capitals do seem to never stop growing... they have real advantages for economic growth.

He’s playing at The Pinnacle in Nashville, which holds roughly 4500 people. That’s gonna be a tough ticket.

Oh that’s interesting, without looking I assumed the venue was Bridgestone Arena. 4500 that ticket will be outrageous

Gonna do Buffalo as well. Great crowd for Stones in 2015 and gonna pair it with a Bills game. Now have to deal with Ticketmaster

Yeah, I was totally surprised to see The Pinnacle as the venue. Have fun at the Bills game! Go Titans!

Hopefully there's a second leg next year. Some interesting choices for cities. Nothing on the west coast except Palm Desert, no New York, Philly, Boston etc.. I'm surprised he's still playing back to back nights!

This is the second leg for the U.S. The first leg was in 2022 and the Got Back tour has been going around the world since then. It looks like he’s picking U.S. cities that were skipped last time.

Yep. In 2022 and again now in 2025 he's skipping DC. But in '22 he hit Baltimore, and NC... I saw him that year in Winston-Salem. Don't expect I'll be going all the way to Pittsburgh or Atlanta for Macca this fall.

Yeah - at first I was bummed there’s no Seattle date, but as it’s the same show from 3 years ago, I’ll let this one pass by. Well worth going if it’s near you, though. He was in pretty good voice when guesting with Springsteen the other day.

Btw, on Jagamart there are blurays for sale that are compilations of fan-posted videos for every McCartney 2022 Got Back Tour show, organized into concert setlist order. I bought the Winston-Salem NC one. It's nicely done, but naturally the video and audio quality can only be as good as the fans' original recordings. Price was something like $35 and shipping IIRC.

Re: OT: Paul McCartney stuff

Its following the usual Macca tour pattern. I don't think he ever hits the same area two times in a row, and usually there's a two to three year gap between coming back to the US. That last Metlife show was the first time he'd played a major NY/NJ show since his huge NY run in 2017. He does a great job building back demand cause anytime could be the last, and has been for awhile. So when he hits an area, I don't expect him back there for 5 years, if at all. Baltimore would definitely have served as the "DC show" in 2022.

I'm going to try for Albuquerque. He's not played there before, and I've never seen him.

DGA, he's only playing back to back where he has two shows in one town. Very nice for
those traveling.
