some trains are running, others not (mine for example). But the accident occured already on Friday but Eurostar informed me just this morning.

Looks like one of the two tracks is still usable, but the repairs will take some time - [www.Rundschau-Online.de] .

Eurostar writes in the above link: "We had to make changes to the timetable until Saturday, 14 December, as repair work has to be carried out on the high-speed line between Cologne and Aachen."

That's waht I've been told. But – as I mentioned before – they informed me much too late to be able to book decent alternative trains

I'm sorry about that, but I can't help as I'm not responsible for Deutsche Bahn or Eurostar. Try alternative routes to Paris, e.g. via Amsterdam or Strasbourg. Trains from Aachen via Brussels to Paris are also still running.

As entirely expected, there's now a fire sale of remaining tickets for tonight's show in Paris on the resale sites with some very good deals to be had. Not a huge number of tickets, but still plenty of choice and many below face value. There are even some available on the official primary site, though not all categories are available.

Yup, as to be expected !

As a matter of interest, that elusive third ticket I needed for McCartney in Madrid on 10th December and which I reluctantly had to buy through STUBHUB (with more than a little scepticism I might add), actually turned up in my email today as a link to STUBHUB from where I was able to download it. So good on them, the system works ! OK, the markup was over face was around 50 EUROS, but in the larger scheme of things - so what ? The most important thing is that the system works, and one is not fraught with f***ing stress, like is usual/commonplace with the likes of VIAGOGO and that bunch of crooks !

Wow - viagogo as low as 13gbp for tonight
Wish I was in Paris rather than Huddersfield today (but I think that most days)

£7gbp on StubHub. This happens at most shows by most artists. Those resale sites, knowing fine well that most people like the reassurance of a ticket in hand before booking travel and accommodation, jack up prices to exorbitant levels. There's then a fire sale of unsold inventory right at the end. It really does pay to wait. It you live in or near a big city like London or Paris and can get time off at short notice to attend gigs then you're laughing.I'm in Oxfordshire, 80 miles West of London and 170 South of Manchester. Both are very do-able day trips. Prices for all 4 UK shows are high but falling and will almost certainly fall much further by show day.

Can't say I've ever seen that before ! I'm all set for tonight but might go for it for tomorrow...except that I'm not seeing anything for sale on VGG for his Paris concerts [www.viagogo.com] , maybe some IP filtering going on with French IPs ?

EDIT - yes, that was it, with a UK IP address I can see them.

Ridiculous "service" fees as usual...

Can't see anything in Paris on Stubhub though, VPN or not.

Yep, that works with a UK VP !

Fees seem to be a bit lower than on ViaGoGo, around 40%...

Even cheaper now. Seats below 50gbp + fees in front floor seated section.

Had a great seat in the front, loved it even if somewhat "predictable"...not unlike our favorite band ;-) What's interesting is that he plays "deep cuts" that most of the audience probably have no idea exist like "Junior's Farm" and "Letting Go"...the problem is that he's been playing them for 10 years (or more) so not great for the hardcore fans ;-)

I’m flying from Los Angeles to London on December 12, with the intention of seeing both Manchester and both London shows even though I currently have tickets to none. I’m happy to hear how it went for Paris.

That's funny, I wonder why would they block that song, Lol.

The copyright claim was by Disney .... maybe they need the song for advertising purposes.

back from the second show in Paris. Same setlits a yesterday. Except: Hard Days Night replacing Can't Buy Me Love as opener.
Still a much better show than yesterday – a t least for me. I was less tired, had a better spot, and there were less idiots, party people etc. standing around me.

Great show, great crowd and McCartney in fine form tonight. We all love recency bias but it was as good as ever and he seemed to really enjoy it. Flawless. And great memories of October 2017 and those wild performances by Jagger

The only problem for these shows was getting into the Arena....Huge mess both nights...Of course they claim security reasons but the organisation (in general in this Arena) was just aweful.

Saying that, all these problems are soon forgetten once the show starts...Both shows were fantastic.
