Bless her heart, Linda McCartney is just embarrasingly awful...cannot sing on key and cant play a lick. Completely glaringly tone deaf. Apparently she didnt wanna join the band but Paul insisted- go figure.

Anyone watching McCartney 3,2, 1 on Hulu? He sits down with Rick Rubin and dissects songs by listening to the Master Tapes. He brings some warmth and openness to discussing how they accomplished what they did.

I find Paul open and generous about the past in a way I WISH Mick and Keith would do as well. I have found it utterly delightful.

Kinda surprised he hasn't announced "IIImixed" yet. Or, maybe that's part of what he was working on when hanging out with Dr. Dre recently? Paul might also be already working on the remixes for his next album for all we know. I wouldn't be surprised. I thought it would be cool if "IIIimagined" led to some full-on collaborations with some of those artists.

Hope macca gets 20---30 ....

The instrument was used in the studio and on the road with Wings.

A guitar played by Paul McCartney was sold at auction over the weekend, breaking the world record for the most expensive bass in the process.
The Yamaha BB-1200 bass guitar, which McCartney used in the studio and on tour with Wings, sold for $496,100 (£374,905),
beating the previous record of $384,000 (£290,190) set by The Rolling Stones‘ Bill Wyman’s 1969 Fender Mustang bass in 2020.

The auction was organised by U2’s The Edge and producer Bob Ezrin for their Music Rising charity “to benefit musicians in the Gulf South,”
following “the devastation the COVID-19 pandemic has wrought on musicians and musical communities”.

Very nice that he's playing the Climate Pledge Arena, where he (and The Beatles) has played many times under it's various incarnations. Two nights there.. may try to make them both!

He's playing Hollywood Florida same venue the Stones played.
Small venue compared to the rest of the tour.

Great news indeed. I think I'll head across the pond for a couple of shows. A pilgrimage for Paul...
