French dates are in :
Lille May 23rd
Paris May 26th
Bordeaux on May 31st
Lyon on June 7th
Holy craptola!
"Queen" is also playing in Paris on the 26th! I wonder how HIS show is going to sell now that all the Queen/classic rock fans already have plans to go see Queen!
Queen is playing Bercy (20000), so that leaves either the Arena U (40000), Stade de France (80000) or the smaller Zenith (which I saw the Who at more recently), wonder what it's gonna be...

Hate to disappoint you but the band that is playing on 26th June in Paris is not Queen. Queen without Freddie Mercury is like the Stones without Jagger. What is happening on 26th June is a celebration of Queen's music which no doubt will be great but it is not Queen. End of!

Up against Macca, yes, I would think fake Queen would lose. Having said that, if Queen is already on sale and Macca isn't, they could have the edge. If people didn't have tickets to either, I could see them choosing Paul. If they already have tickets to Queen, they might not want to give up tickets to the nostalgia act they already have.

I guess you missed the " " I put around the name Queen. I don't care, I've never seen Brian May live and this is the next best thing, I'm not old enough to have seen Queen way back when...

The Queen show at Bercy has been sold out for a while. I wonder how many are only going there because of the BR biopic...
Macca is playing at the UArena (or whatever it's called now) like he did in 2018. Biggest Macca fan here but I think I've seen enough of the different variations of that show since the 2002 opener in Oakland. Unless there's something "special" about this one...

I have seen Queen with Paul Rodgers back in 2008. It was GREAT!
Have fun

I like the new tracks a lot, I can imagine they would sound great live. I actually think Paul's voice holds nice there. I would like to see him again, wouldn't travel too far for him any more, but if he plays Berlin (5 hours by train for me) or anywhere closer, I will try to get a ticket.

A great point - yet completely worthless for the people who want to go see them.
You couldn't at least give them, Brian May et al, the nod of continuing? Who makes a band? AC/DC can certainly hold that one up. Sure, the Stones without Mick Jagger, absolutely. However, it's not up to us - what if Mick long ago said EH SOD IT, MAN and Keith said WELL SOD YOU and found another singer?
It can be done and it has been done. LVs or not, Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains... Led Zeppelin (for one show, anyway, which was excellent), The Doors, Def Leppard, The Stones - the list goes on with people leaving and being replaced - I get some bands have the voice being a major factor (Motley Cure FAILED fantastically without Vince Neil while Journey has risen with Arnel Pineda) but some bands just can't (Stones and Zeppelin are perfect examples) replace their singer.
Your opinion is yours, of course, and I don't disagree with it - yet I can look beyond it: I don't have to go (or buy their records) if I feel that it's not right.
