And do we get a LET IT BLEED Superdeluxe, or are we relegated to clear vinyl reissues from now to the end of time, from ABKCO?
This is a real serious question, as I was asking myself already when ABKCO will start to jump on the expanded/deluxe/superdeluxe-edition wagon and if at all.
The 60's appear to be a much more interesting period for Stones outtakes in general.
It may be too late, but I'm surprised ABKCO hasn't tried to piggy back on the SF/Tour with their own release. Who knows what secret agreements have been reached with the band, I'm sorry, Mick Jagger, since their supposed rapprochement.
Beacause ABKCO are not what they used to be after Jody Klein took over. Look at their very tasteful and thoughtout re-releases. Plenty and very good releases since 2002.

forgive me if this has been brought up. but can't see it.
Am I right, is there No super deluxe vinyl Boxset being released.
with the full album on vinyl and the CD's, DVD's and ephermera?
Looks like the boxsets only have a 7" with em.
More Like the Some Girls box than Exile?
any help mucho appreciated

The Super Deluxe set has both cds and vinyls.
Yes I expect so. After we've bought the super deluxe version to get two tracks this time round. But hey, I know what I'm doing and I won't see them live this year so this is my Stones luxury item for 2015.Quote

Why are there only 2 songs on the DVD?
Do they plan on releasing the whole show as a separate purchase?

Wrong. Plus there's no such word as "vinyls".

They don't have to jump on the bandwagon...they started the ball rolling and set the standard with gyyyo in 2009!
In a way, yes ... but I was thinking more of 60's studio albums in particular. Their GYYO and Charlie Is My Darling sets were absolutely great.
doesn't seem as though ABKCO has ever been particularly shy about trying to make money, so if there is even a remote possibility that they can cobble together a superdeluxe set of something I'd think they would.
If we're having the discussion here, you can be damned sure they've already had the discussion. Just think about a superdeluxe LIB, or BB, or even TSMR!

True. There are unique mono mixes of Brown Sugar, Bitch, Let It Rock and Sway. All of them appeared on the singles during that period.

Would have been great if they included a good quality soundboard of Brown Sugar from Altamont.

We had Leeds in exc. mono, some people here want it in stereo.

Sometimes I wonder if they are more interested by the soud engineer work than the stones music by itself...

Leeds is not excellent sonically. Now it will be, hopefully.

It's nice from you to try to defend your little friend but you notice badly.
I am only demanding (in general anyway).
I must admit the bar was high after the Exile and SG reissues.

I guess ABKCO is already piggybacking in a way, as Brown Sugar and Wild Horses are ABKCO recordings. Maybe they'll put out a superdeluxe box of Metamorphisis?!

Well then, your bar must be set at garbage because neither of those releases were very good.

I don't see the point as it doesn't sound that much different than the one already released. I even liked the version on Stripped more.

The Exile & Some girls reissues were damn good, but they required lots of work from Jagger. I guess Mick could not be bothered putting in the same amount of work for Sticky Fingers, and that's a shame. The live material is welcome, but it has nothing to do with SF , if it was separate..... great, but as part of this reissue it comes across as lazy work from The Stones.
