The Stones' Fish-eye Shots in The 60's

A fisheye lens is an ultra wide-angle lens that produces strong visual distortion intended to create a wide panoramic or hemispherical image. Portraits shot with a fish-eye lens are a little strange and funny. Mass-produced fisheye lenses for photography first appeared in the early 1960s and the Stones have already shot with them since then. Here are some of interesting shots that you've probably never seen before:

The Big Hits (High Tide & Green Grass) cover shot is by Jerry Schatzberg.
Is the one of Mick above from the Child of the Moon video shoot?

Here's another David Bailey shot - I love this one. Keith looks like a flash-forward to about 1983

I think that the photographer was George Harrison himself.

This is Primrose Hill again (location of Between The Buttons cover shoot) isn't it? - a few streets away from where I grew up. I seem to recall David Bailey had a studio down there.

Hey, is Brian's left hand bandaged in that pic?

Yes. He hurt it hitting Anita (so the story goes).
It's also bandaged on the Ed Sullivan show taped around the same time at the photo.

Yes but that's just a story, we dont know why it was bandaged. Could be just one of the many made up stories about the band.
