Anyway, a great band but Newcombe is clearly deranged.

That quote is tounge and cheek...Anton Newcombe has an active sense of humor.

Although BJM can be hit or miss in concert, there's a lot more consistency in the past 5 or so years than before...I think Anton is now sober so that could be why.

A. Newcombe is a truly gifted song writer and the Brian reference may be partially based on the fact that he also plays a lot of different instruments.

Anways, sorry to go on and on; Anton is kind of a jokester but is a nice guy at heart and I strongly advise Rolling Stones fans to check out BJM if they play near by.

I saw them last Friday, excellent show.

I've now - within the space of less than a couple of weeks - seen Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Ron Wood and the Brian Jonestown Massacre.
