This is not an anti Ron Wood post, trust me. I do hope he drops the electric sitar on this years Street Fighting Man and Jumping Jack Flash. I thought the sound was annoying and didn't fit the song. I'm a huge George Harrison fan and I love the sitar on Paint It Black....but on JJF & SFM I want to hear more guitar!

I think on JJF he was trying to capture the sound of the original recording, sometimes i dont think it was mixed properly at the soundboard, the Stones , i hate to say sometimes could have better people engineering their sound at their concerts.

I like it in SFM too. However, he seemed to pull it out for every other song on the Licks tour - like a boy with a new toy.

Every other song? I only saw him play it on SFM, and later in the tour also on JJF.
