And it was not just the Hyde Park - the whole area of Bayswater/Paddington. all day, all night, was full of tongue shirts all over the weekend. Never seen so many of them!
But still there is something special with the Stones and London. That occurred to me strong in the Sunday night when I was having my last beer at The Swan pub where many Stones people had met during the weekend. But at that time, around the closing time, I was the only one with a tongue shirt, but there was this troubadour singing for the people. And the very last number was nothing else but "Satisfaction". The whole place just exploded, everyone was sing-a-longing, smiling, many, including the bartenders, were dancing... So natural reaction... That felt great, like finally realizing I had wittnesses something historical in that very place and area, and, you know, how big the Stones really are there. What a great way to end the weekend!

Considering that most of us were thousands of miles from Hyde Park when the Stones were playing, your pictures are INFINATELY better than most of our pictures. Thanks for posting.

I wish I could have traded places with you and taken pictures on my phone... On 7/13/13 I used my phone to take pictures of my Mom & Dad on their 50th wedding anniversary... OK, so maybe I wouldn't have traded places with you as it was a pretty special day for my family but it would have been great to be able to be in two places at once!

Those are great! I took a few pics with my camera but they're pretty much all blurred because those boys WOULD NOT STAND STILL. So congrats on capturing them in flight!

Out of focus is a largely overlooked art form...your shots of Keith are nicely artistic...lots of movement and perspective...

Slightly-fuzzed shots like these seem more authentic. At least to me. Maybe that's why I like these photos so much.

They don't suck. That picture of Keith in the lights with his back to you is a great shot. As far as the focus and graininess, I assume you have an older phone. If you actually have a more recent phone (which by and large take very good pics), I would humbly suggest (i) taking numerous shots in succession - some will always turn out clear and you just delete the rest; and (ii) cleaning the lenses on your phone. You might laugh, but a friend of mine only recently discovered that his camera lens still had the protective plastic strip on it. This is after 3-4 months of taking "soft focus" pictures!
