Great version... At least one guitarist on stage can look beyond the recordings and try to seize the moment. You have to admire Taylor's bravado, we are witnessing the true spirt of improvisational rock and roll. Charlie has to take the prize here with beautiful tom, tom work and actually using his ride cymbal for the rides, he is forever great, just magnificent. First class all around, the love on stage is contagious.

I just smiled for 10 minutes, 36 seconds! Great post for a hot, muggy morning here in Canada. You made my day, brother. This will be my tour favourite...

That was superb!

Imagine if that line up could just do one more album???

Damn I miss that guy(Taylor) playing in this band. It would be so good if they just incorporated him back into the band. When he is on stage he just elevates them to a very different level. One that I never get tired of hearing. This isn't knocking Ronnie cause I know a lot of people like him but I hope people understand now why people have been clamoring for Mick Taylor .

I guess I'm nitpicking, but Mick really has to say "an old friend"? Maybe its just me, but I feel it downplays his contributions a bit.

Amazing stuff. Did anybody else have the impression that at some point only Taylors guitar could be heard and that, even though Keith / Ronnie were strumming theirs it wasn't in the mix.
Can anybody tell me what it means that Keith frequently has both hands on the neck, of the guitar, and not one hand on the body, and one hand on the neck, like Taylor does?

The full line up that made "Knocking" (and the rest of Sticky, as well as EOMS) is all alive and kicking. A new album with all those people (plus Ronnie) would be about the only way the Rolling Stones could interest me in a new studio record. Yet, sadly, I am sure they are not interested.

Too much work and they probably aren't interested. I'm guessing Keith, Ronnie, and Taylor would be in. Mick and Bill probably wouldn't be. Charlie probably would be a no but, if everyone else agreed, would do it. Unfortunately they don't have a need to do that, and I think Mick and Bill need that.

No, no. He doesn't mean it like that. There's an irony to it. Like, here's someone you all know (even if the kids may not).

Thanks Kleermaker! What a great moment.

So, does this mean the satellite feed of the entire concert has surfaced?

That's amazing. The best it's been played this tour. Mick let it flow this time and let it come to its natural conclusion, bravo.

I appreciate the patience of the band in allowing Taylor to have his say. Stuff like this is not really the band's thing.

It's definitely Charlies thing.

At the beginning of the tour, Taylor played the lead with the rhythm pick-up, then quickly went to the treble pick up.

Here he plays the first part of the lead with the rhythm pick-up, then switched to the treble pick up a couple minutes before the end.

Maybe he did this before, but I didn't notice. I would like to see this cut make an official DVD.

I kicked Keith around a good bit for not getting this intro right, but all three guitarists have got this sorted out it seems. Now, if Mick wouldn't rush it, I know with age, as a vocalist, you lose your "growl", but he sings it like, "yougotsatinshoes, yeahyougotchineseboots" no pause, no "letting it breathe. Like he comes in late and finishes early......thoughts?
