For all you Ron Wood Fans I watched B2B Video last night and I must report
That Ron Wood did not move on stage and stood there and barely played anything.
Keith did all the work. How can Ron Wood do that to the band on stage.

He is your guy out there playing all these great shows and you are stuck with
him again for the 2005 tour.GOOD LUCK to all those bad notes

and your point is what precisely?

youre reviewing (sorry, "reporting on") a show from 8 years ago and droning on about someone else's solos from 35 years ago?

Why are you here anyway? Dont you have a book to read or something?

is anyone still awake?

Re: B2B Video

Are you awake still listening to those Ron Wood solos.I am awake always listening
to those brilliant solos from 35 years ago.

don,t you get it those solos are ART and should always be appreciated.there are
no time limits to appreciate ART.

its amazing jagger/richards shut down Taylor and his contributions to the band
and he was forced to quit. This forum is about the stones and its current
and prior members.you will have to ban me from the site to stop me from time to
time in mentioning the greateness of taylor.

Oooooooooh, anarchy!

Now, now are you implying something?

B2B tour wasn't Ronnie's finest hour for sure. Very sad that he was in that bad shape. The Voodoo Lounge (i just love that name) was a much better tour guitar wise,

But why are we always talking about the lead guitarist and not the other (origanl) members who are the core off the band!

Cheers,
Wuudy

hey gazza the stones have not put out a new record in 8 years so B2B is their
last record to talk about and B2B tour supported the record.

prolific songwriters they cant even get in the studio to make a new record
for the licks tour they did the same thing for the 1981 tour and used outtakes
to get out a record for the 1981 tour.

My o my what are you negative Open G. I can't understand that you're interested in this board if dislike the stones that much. Have you been to concerts after '73?

Cheers,
Wuudy

Why is that people who don't like the Stones feel the need to come here and bash them, I think they get joy in seeing people get fired up. Best thing to do is ignore them and hope they go away. I don't mind some intelligent discussions but it seems that some people have too much time on their hands (look how many times the person has responded to his own post) so they become negative.

Good point Hound dog! I reckon Ronnie sounds good on most boots....its just the official stuff can be abit ropey. It also don't help that there aint much going on at the mo.

BTB edits and overdubbed crowd noises is a nuisance.

OpenG you are dull and in dire need of an existence screaming for substance.

I love Taylor's playing but you are far too anal about it.
I'm sure he would dislike you as much as some here do.

In place of his phallas, have sex with his vibrato instead - I'm sure you'll find a way - and stop living your life vicariously thru Taylor.

You have all the makings to become to Taylor that which Chapman became to Lennon.

kyle m

Have you ever lent somebody $20 and never seen them again? It was probably worth it.

Open G - one thing I'll never be is a cheerleader and asskisser for any band. I'm the first to admit the Stones' faults and laziness as is quite evident from any of my posts on this forum or anywhere else.

However, someone has obviously given you a sense of humour bypass, mate.

I dont need to add any more to what Wuudy, Hound Dog and especially Monkeyman say above.

You seriously need to get out more.

Monkey Man - I think you have listened to much of the song and you are a fanatic
just like all the rest who post here.I have been positive and never attacked
anyone and in control your post shows the negative side of you for all to see
and read.

You can use a lemon squeezer right now.

'You can use a lemon squeezer right now.'

yeah and you bore the daylights out of me.Gazza if you remember I made a post
way back and noted that Dylan was the best white blues singer of all time
and you actually agreed with me.

I totally agree with Mr. OpenG: this board wouldn't be the same without the "vibrato"!!!

I still wanna know what the lemon squeezers for?

Re: B2B Video

In Blues terminology Lemon is usually the male genitalia and a lemon squeezer is the female sex partner. So I guess OpenG means Gazza needs to stop playing with himself and go get himself a root..!

mmm...I dont actually recall saying that I disagreed with everything you say, maybe you could show me where I did?

You're entitled to your own opinions on taylor, woody, the Stones as much as anyone else is. I just think you should lighten up a bit instead of twisting everything other people say into some kind of personal vendetta against you (or Mick Taylor). Personally I just find the whole Taylor/Woody debate tedious in the extreme. You've obviously mistaken me for someone who actually GIVES a fĂșck about it.

For what it's worth though, I find the 'vibrato' fixation quite entertaining in some kind of way!
